The 580 we ordered in January has a production date of 8/31/22. Whoohoo. I noticed some changes not listed in the 2023 order guide. 878 ambient light is standard now. I’ve added the build sheet. Sadly we wanted to add the 445 augmented reality and the P53 air filter but it’s too late now. Been trying to get someone to change this for months. Also, the colors changed we ordered 842 twilight with macchiato 805 nappa/space gray. That is now sodalite blue metallic with Porcelain/Espresso brown nappa. Netstar has been down and it just went back up today.
Interesting. My MY 2023 car was built on 20 July and currently in transit. The print out from net star I was given lists my upholstery as 805 macchiato beige/space grey nappa. Strange that it changed. Will be interested to see what color I actually get. It does list 878 active ambient lighting. I did get the 445 augmented reality HUD as well as P53 HEPA filter.
Strange that your invoice lists the European paint/leather color names despite being a US car.

This is quite odd - you have the euro names for colors, some nonfinalized names for options like dashcam, and your packages seem a little off, namely the DE1 seems like it would be a "rebuilt" package with not all the optons. Not 100% sure though.
Just got back from my dealer. Salesman says net star system is all screwed up. Cars that he had on order have disappeared. Tried to modify some builds and gets a spinning icon. They are very frustrated because they can’t tell their customers much of anything. And I found out my 805 macchiato beige/ space grey leather also turned into porcelain/ brown color.
And you guy’s shouldn’t complain about price. My car is now listed as over $7 million.

7 million may seem like a lot but just think of the resale value! 😊
I stopped by my dealer on Saturday thinking the car was built (August 31 build date). It turns out Netstar is still messed up, wrong nomenclature, dates etc. My car now has first week of November build and I can make changes. However, Netstar can’t take the changes so everyone has to wait until sometime this week to make changes on cars that are “green.” Interestingly, I saw you could add comfort doors for $2k. I’m not sure if we would actually get them but it was there. They told me some cars had even been shipped to incorrect VPCs.

When you talk about comfort door, are you saying doors that open and close automatically or soft close doors that you don't have to slam?

Only Maybach S-Class’ have the auto comfort doors which will close at a push of a button, although I don’t think they’re an option so perhaps he was confused with soft-close doors which are also standard on the S-Class.

That's what I thought too, I have one of those in my garage, waiting for my EQS 580

You are correct. I was thinking soft close doors on my S class. Forgot the EQS had automatic close doors. They look nice in the video but for $2 k I’ll close my doors manually. In any event it doesn’t matter. My 580 was offloaded at Baltimore today and I severely doubt it has the auto close doors.
You’re right. DA1 was the “auto comfort door” This comfort door listed in Netstar as DH0 “comfort doors” is probably just soft close. I personally think $2,000 is a bit high for just soft close.
Here’s what Netstar has. It does say “auto comfort doors.” Very confusing.
Wow $2750 for the automatic comfort door package. With the exception of the exterior color and the auto doors, that is basically my build.
And mine was $7.7 mil as well.

That exterior color they list is the European name, it's Twilight Blue here, also they haven't announced 2023 base pricing yet, hence the $7,777,000.00 price tag. My MSRP shows the same but the option pricing is in. Can't believe those comfort doors are only $2,800?
