Has anyone successfully used this Tesla to J-1772 adaptor on their EQS? (It's a LECTRON 250V 48A adapter)

Yep I’ve used it for over 2 years. When I got jaguar ipace and now for my 580. Didn’t want to get rid of Tesla charger when I had gotten the jaguar. I’ve never had any problems with it. Works perfect with my eqs. .

Isn't it true that it only works with Tesla destination and home chargers? Not with the supercharger stations?

I bought one too. Many Hotels have Tesla destination chargers only.
yes, it's for destination charging, not supercharger ... so few chargepoint and EA chargers around here I've got to look for every opportunity.
However when I try to order this particular model, Amazon flags it as not working with EQS but there is really no reason for this that I can see.

It should work for destination charging. The flag is probably because it says tesla in the title. Make sure it is returnable just in case.

However, there is no reason it shouldnt it works with any J1772. Follow the simple instructions. If not done correctly it will not work with any car..
Tesla Tap also makes a Tesla Tap Mini version which I purchased. It is much smaller and comes in 40, 60, or 80 amp versions. I like it better than the "cable" Tesla Tap because it's smaller to carry in the car and it doesn't put strain on the connection by hanging down from the car plug. I would recommend getting the 60 or 80 amp version so that you won't be restricted if you find a Tesla destination charger that is higher amps. The Mini also has a optional carrying case that is very compact and protects the adapter. They also sell optional mini padlocks to prevent someone from stealing the adapter while you are charging. I've used mine several times and it works great.

FYI, on the Lucid forum, there were some comments about having to sand down some parts of it to fit more easily into the Tesla connector.
I have a Gen 3 Tesla Wall Charger at home. I have used the 80 AMP Tesla Tap Adapter at home without any issues. More recently I recently I traveled to Puerto Penasco, Mexico (Rocky Point) and was able to take advantage of numerous NEMA 14-50 outlets. I fortunately retained the Tesla Mobile charger and once again used the Tesla Tap 80 AMP adapter without any issues.

I use it daily without difficulty. It’s a little unwieldy and a little slow.
If its not an 80 amp rated adapter DONT BUY IT. Tesla chargers vary up to 80 amps. If you use an adapter not rated to 80 amps and you make the mistake of using it on an 80 amp charger 2 things will almost certainly happen. It won't work or very expensive things will melt.

But on another note. Tesla is planning on adding a "Magic Dock" to their superchargers in the US so that non-Tesla's will be able to charge. Basically you will go on the Tesla app, locate the supercharger station number and it will unlock the CCS plug for you to charge. (Source: https://driveteslacanada.ca/supercha...rs-magic-dock/).
