EQS Augmented Reality HUD
I’m a huge fan of the Augmented Reality HUD. This has really become so good I now drive with navigation Audio off. The directions are so clear if you are looking at the road that there is no way you would miss a turn.
However the benefits are not just related navigation. It is also awesome when using the Drivers Assistance features like Adaptive Cruise Control, lane keeping, and lane Change while on cruise. I particularly love that the Graphics tell you what the DrivePilot is thinking - which car it is tracking, how the car it is tracking changes when a car enters the lane or leaves the lane, and also how it can show how it is thinking of a lane change when needed.
This video gives a great overview.

Any photo or video of the "traffic light counter" that was criticised earlier (for poor focus). I guess the traffic lights I've seen are not networked, haven't seen the icon at all so far.

I've never seen it either, too bad as it would be a cool feature to have.

I'm a huge fan of Augmented Realty HUD as well. I find it especially helpful when i'm on windy mountain roads to glance at the blue road arrow (far left side of the HUD) that will give you an idea if the upcoming turn is gradual, sharp or in between depending on the degree of bend it shows. Gives you the ability to be prepared.

Cannot find on configurer
I'm looking to potentially getting an eqs or possibly an eqe once it comes out. I was playing around with the configurer, and I can't find the option for the augmented reality hud . Is that still available or did they get rid of it for some reason?

I came from a 2021 S-Class with the Augmented Reality and my regular EQS Heads Up looks mostly the same. It *may* be a bit smaller (not sure, and not by much if so), but it has speed sign, speed (the same looks as my S-Class), a navigation map and turning directions, traffic light count down, lane keep info, and maybe more. It is virtually the same as my S-Class Augmented Reality HU except it does not have those blue arrows overlay showing the turns. I think I seen those arrows are on the center screen display though, but I think that is the only thing I am not seeing on the standard version HU.

read these. If these documents say it’s available then it is, otherwise not.

No, it's not available as of now on the EQE. This is because the EQE is unavaible with hypersecreen, and other then on the S Class, the AR Nav requires the hyperscreen.
For the EQE and EQS, the hyperscreen has the 3D guages and sensors, which are necessary for the AR HUD, while the regular screen doesnt have the 3D sensors. THe regular S CLass has the 3D sensors available (regular screen), but not the EQE and EQS. This is also why AR HUD is available on the EQS580 but not the 450.

On my 2021 S580 there was a switch in the settings to turn off navigation voice. I can't find that in the settings on the EQS. I do see on the actual navigation screen with the map there is the part that shows the destination time and miles left that also has a mute icon. Is that the only place to turn off the voice or did you find it in settings?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Other then the charger door glitch, I really think I am going to like this car. A lot of things that bothered me on my 2021 S580 have been addressed. The battery range seems good and there seems to be a good network of chargers. There will be a lot more electric cars sold in the next few years/ I hope the charging network keeps up, but so far everything seems to be well though out. ...and yes, the charger door is closed.
