EQS Augmented Reality HUD

However the benefits are not just related navigation. It is also awesome when using the Drivers Assistance features like Adaptive Cruise Control, lane keeping, and lane Change while on cruise. I particularly love that the Graphics tell you what the DrivePilot is thinking - which car it is tracking, how the car it is tracking changes when a car enters the lane or leaves the lane, and also how it can show how it is thinking of a lane change when needed.
This video gives a great overview.

I came from a 2021 S-Class with the Augmented Reality and my regular EQS Heads Up looks mostly the same. It *may* be a bit smaller (not sure, and not by much if so), but it has speed sign, speed (the same looks as my S-Class), a navigation map and turning directions, traffic light count down, lane keep info, and maybe more. It is virtually the same as my S-Class Augmented Reality HU except it does not have those blue arrows overlay showing the turns. I think I seen those arrows are on the center screen display though, but I think that is the only thing I am not seeing on the standard version HU.

My 2023 580 was built last week and I got the augmented reality HUD.

For the EQE and EQS, the hyperscreen has the 3D guages and sensors, which are necessary for the AR HUD, while the regular screen doesnt have the 3D sensors. THe regular S CLass has the 3D sensors available (regular screen), but not the EQE and EQS. This is also why AR HUD is available on the EQS580 but not the 450.
Thanks!

Thanks!
Other then the charger door glitch, I really think I am going to like this car. A lot of things that bothered me on my 2021 S580 have been addressed. The battery range seems good and there seems to be a good network of chargers. There will be a lot more electric cars sold in the next few years/ I hope the charging network keeps up, but so far everything seems to be well though out. ...and yes, the charger door is closed.
