Loss of streaming music functionality

I have loved everyone moment of my 580 except yesterday my streaming music cut out. Previously the system worked perfectly tethering the EQS to my iPhone via bluetooth or Wifi for internet access. I thought it was a bug in the system, so I did a software reset. But the problem still persists. I even connected my car to my home's wifi and it still won't connect. I can still get music through bluetooth streaming from the phone, but the convenience of navigating Amazon Music through MBUX is so nice. Also I am not a big fan of CarPlay. Thank for your help.

I've had similar issues. Sometimes my car decides that it no longer knows how to stream online music, even with an excellent internet connection. The only fix I've found is restarting the car.

It’s 75% broken for me. It can play the last album I had playing through Apple Music but I can’t search or browse my library at all. All it shows is my USB stick when I search. Probably a backend issue if I had to guess

This is exactly what I’m experiencing. Additionally, if I go to settings/media/music services, I get a spinning cursor (I also have Amazon, and I was trying to switch to it).

I called the dedicated EQS customer service line. No help

There are three threads on this topic:

I don't have the forum skills to merge them, etc., but it is clear this is a backend server issue. Anyone have any thoughts as to how we can communicate this to MB together?

My car is in for service (unrelated issue) but once it's back I might call the Mercedes Me Connect hotline to ask about their current status. The last time I was having an issue with an online-connected car feature (plug + charge), it was due to Mercedes Me Connect downtime that they were able to confirm over the phone. Only solution was to wait for them to fix it on their end.

I have been told that Mercedes Me connect help line is only for issues with the app. For issues with the car/MBUX/etc it has to go to customer service. When you press the button by the dome light to call them, there is a separate phone tree menu choice for each.

Last time I called for Plug and Charge issues I started with the EQS line and they promptly sent me over to the Me Connect hotline to troubleshoot since it's an internet-connected function.

There’s actually a separate line for EQ vehicles. I spent an hour on the phone with them yesterday and got really close to convincing the woman it was a backend server issue. I cited the number of people on this forum having the same problem.

The EQ customer service line is (855) 502-3851. Maybe if you called as well they’d start to look into it.

I had this issue recently and it was finally resolved yesterday. I had called into the support line and they opened up a ticket. There was some back and forth between support and I. I was being asked for screenshots and repro steps etc; pretty sure engineering team(s) where working on a fix.

I have the same issue after I Got iPhone 15 pro.
When I change to my old iPhone 11, both CarPlay and Bluetooth unit works.
the New phone asks me to buy internet access. When your phone asks for that you should not cancel it. Just let it be and wait, then CarPlay plays again.
it is not your car but the New iPhones and Apple would not help.
