What 14-50 and 20-30 Charging Cables Do You Carry?
I plan on some trips where regular commercial chargers are not available. I will have access to 50 Amp RV Park plugs which are the 14-50 type and 30 Amp electric dryer plugs which are the 10-30 type. Since I have read the EQS does not come with charging cords what do you use and a source to buy please. Looking for something more manageable than the home chargers.

After a bit of research these are what I determined to be the minimum to be sure I could charge just about anywhere. Starting with a NEMA 6-50 male plug on a portable level 2 charger. one end of each adapter has the NEMA 6-50R and then
the following plugs::
NEMA 14-50P.
NEMA 14-30P
NEMA L14-30P
NEMA 10-30P
The Mercedes 120V charger with NEMA 5-15P
and a Tesla tap.
These seem to address my charging needs at every place visited to date. I live in a ChargePoint charging desert (I-49 to I-20 corridor). Quite a bit different from a single leaded to unleaded adapter from
the ICE old days.

Recommendation:
You can replace those 2 EVSE, with one Ford one. You will find a 1450 plug virtually anywhere in the country since they are the default campground charger. You can replace the TeslaTap with a mini one. Its a lot smaller and will connect to all Tesla plugs (up to 80 amps).
Mych smaller form factor and it all fits in the bag!

There are usually no 14-50 sockets at many private homes but there are generally 30amp dryer outlets thus the -30P selections especially since I don't do campgrounds. There is little reason to actually consider a 120V charger, it takes way too long. I just tossed it in the picture because it came with the car.

How many extra miles does one gain on a 220v home charger using a 60 amp. breaker over a 50 amp. breaker?

This charger is similar to Ford but half the price.

I personally didn’t see the value of 120v until I had my car in for PPF and tint. The battery drains in that setting. The 120v serves as a battery tender because when the car is plugged in, the car will charge the 12v battery.

I went with this one to use with the 14-50 plug at my house (only used a half dozen times since there is an EA 150kw a mile away) and at a parking lot 40 amp charger near my second home.

In summary a 14 50 plug requires a 60 amp circuit. However given the limitations of the EQS on board charger (9.6kw) all you will use of the plug for is 40 amps.
Most mobile chargers (like the Ford I have) top of at 7.7kw (32amps).
Given the EQS monster battery I think a 9.6kw charger is less than optimal. In the real world, its OK given that the times that you have to go from 10- 100% are rare. That said faster is always better....

What do you think of this one. Very similar specs to Ford and it is UL Listed.

Secondly a lot of the stuff they are selling is from fly-by-night Chinese operations which spring out the blue today and disappear tomorrow.
morrow. Again the are in hot water for selling crappy electrical products some of the even "amazon recommended"

UL listing is, for me kind of a minimum requirement. Indeed its almost identical to Ford's at a much better price. Amazon worries me greatly. First they should not sell ANY non UL listed stuff

However , here is another idea. The Tesla mobile charger has the same specs as ford with a tesla connector, and is only $200. Add an adapter which most of us buy anyway, and you are way ahead.

i think you are right. just searched their negative reviews and someone had the handle melt on the charging port causing $2k of damage. Ford is probably best option.

BTW If anyone wants a 16A-40A 120V-240V portable charger, then the BMW Flexible Fast Charger will be available for purchase standalone on September 22nd. The list price is $680 so I expect it will likely be available online around $600. The Ford is just over $400 but has 30A peak.
