Middle Air Vents above Hyperscreen

I always get very little air flow out of the middle air vents above the hyperscreen, no matter what setting I have. I also also adjusted the vent louvers right and left. Anyone else feel that these vents don't do much?

Also, when you get in a hot car on a hot day, the air conditioning is very loud. Somehow it seems that in routing the ducts around the hyperscreen, they have become both loud and constricted.

If the car is hot, I get very strong A/C air stream. I’m sure you rotated the side vents to fully open.

The A/C noise doesn’t seem any louder than any other car.

Is anyone using the pre-cooling set up to kick on 15-20 minutes before you plan on using the EQS?

I have used it, its superb. Remember, it qill use battery unless the car is plugged. Might make a difference in relly hot climes. I will be using it in the opposite scenario....deep freeze.

I use the pre entry climate every day and love it. People walk by the car and wonder what is going on in a parked car that sounds like it's running. So nice on a 110 degree Texas day to open the door and feel instantly cool with the seat coolers working.

I would be curious to see the average KW used per hour for both AC and heat when the car is not plugged in. I realize the delta will change depending on how hot or cold outside and what the temperature is set to inside.

Another nice feature is that you can set the climate control to turn on when you enter the car rather than when you turn the car on. I realize this saves only a few seconds, however, with 2 people entering the car at the same time it makes things a little less frantic.

For a pre-cooling to kick on, say, 15-20 minutes before entering, just about how much 'energy' is used?
I know this depends much on the environment temperature and the car interior temp chosen. But, I am just curious to know a general or average ball park figure.
Air conditioning is an electricity hog. So, say, in terms of city driving condition, just about how many miles are 'sacrificed' in exchange for this 15-20 minutes pre-cooling (of, course, assuming the car is not plugged in).

Anyone has any idea?

All you need to do to avoid the loudness is touch the climate setting on bottom of middle screen and then touch the sync setting.

BTW I do agree that the flow from the middle vents is on the weak side. Unlike most cars the majority of the airflow is from the outside vents. It does however work very well in all conditions. Im looking forward to see how it does when its minus 20 outside as it often is around my neck of the woods.

I don't have a hyperscreen, but the vents on my car are in the same position. I had trouble getting air flow at first, but adjusted them to their center position, which is perfect for air flow toward the faces of the driver and passenger. If you gently adjust them, you will feel a little click in the center position. Since doing that, all the vents seem to be equally flowing, and things are perfect.
