Debadge EQS by A pillars?

Has anyone debadged their EQS by the A-pillars? Would like to know if it was an easy task?

I had pretty good results wriggling back and forth with a fishing line. If you want to put the letters back at some point, consider sticking some packing tape (firmly) over them when removing and aligning the tape with the bottom window trim. This allows the position of the letters to be retained. Wipe away any residue with isopropyl alcohol.

For anyone interested in debadging the trunk, it was a lot more work for me. You have to pull the fishing line slightly away from the car to avoid scratching the paint. It takes longer and you're more likely to get residue on the paint that has to be removed with more care.

@bobbob can you post photos from further back of the side profile of the car? I debadged my trunk but left the A-pillar badges. I used a blow dryer and floss for my trunk badges. Heating them up really did the trick and made it effortless. They came right off, adhesive and all.

Looks clean, for the trunk if the adhesive is hard to get off nothing a little goo-gone won't take them off.

No Mercedes yet
I can't understand why anyone would want to remove the "EQS" logo. What am I missing?

A cleaner look when the A pillar ones are removed. Just my opinion.

This, reason why people debadge the rear badges on their car (other than those posers, story for another time) debadged the rear as it looks way cleaner with just the mb star without the model designation, some manufacturers like Porsche allows you to delete the model as a no cost option from factory) Mercedes too but only in Europe as far as I remembered.

Debadging

What works great and may be even thinner than fishing line, is dental floss... works like a charm!

Debadged!

Used hair blow dryer and task completed in less than 20-mins. Is did leave some ghosting on the glass…water enhances its effect, but I like it. Used my plastic automotive tool once the letters were warm and removal was extremely easy, followed by isopropyl alcohol wipe.

Cleaner lines

Cleaner lines

P.S. Don’t judge my messy garage

2023 AMG EQS
Debadging the rear makes the rear look clean. For some reason debadging the side makes the car look extremely boring.
I have a feeling that's why they added that badge because the EQS already looks kinda dull.
When debadged It looks extremely dull and boring.
Thanks for the picks... Now I know what I absolutely will not be doing to my car lol

I disagree, but to each his own If the ‘EQS’ were smaller and placed somewhere around the fenders, like around the area where European indicator lights were/are placed, perhaps, but I don’t care to advertise the model all around the motor car OR the letters could have been a smaller font encased in chrome frame, like the ‘AMG’ models, I would have had no issue. Just my opinion.

I guess your personal preference will be on the windshield wiper fluid door right?

simple. They look ugly. It looks much better without all the chrome and badging. Except obviously the star logo on the trunk.
