Looks like there is. In the AppStore, Update History says it was updated 2 hours ago. Adds support for Apple Digital Car Key for select 2024 models (probably the new E Class).
Right, I've noticed this as well, because the web portal is not working for me. I'm trying to renew my services which expire in a month, but the store website had a technical error. It's working now, though, and as said above, the app update is out as well. Installing it now.

Swipe down to refresh. It is there in the US store. Released 5 hours ago now. That notification has disappeared for me, but can't renew services through the app even with this update. Still takes you to the website, so looks like that notification was an error.
I can't find a way to update it. Don't know where to swipe down. A link from the app would certainly be nice.
Open up the App Store app, tap on your profile in the top right corner. Then tap anywhere in an empty area, hold and pull down until a spinning gear appears at the top and you get a haptic feedback. This will refresh the update page. You can also go to the app details in the App Store and there should be an update button. Otherwise just wait until it updates automatically.

OK, I finally did get the udate button, clicked it, and it updated. The only difference I can see is that now I can opt in for the MBUX Beta program. Is there something else I'm not seeing?
I just downloaded the latest version and now I got a warning my 12v battery is Low ( in red letters). Car has been sitting in my garage in Florida while I summer in RI. Previously app reported 12v v battery as partially charged. Is Low a new reporting option with the new version (replacing partially charged) or has my battery discharged further. I have been assured by the service agent that car will keep the 12v battery charged by itself without any trickle charger, etc.
In any event I happen to be flying to Florida Saturday to check on the car and my house and will drive the car, hopefully fully charging the 12 v battery.

No, there was always a Low, however it was called Critical. Maybe they renamed it. The app also sends a notification if the battery reaches critical and I even get an email. However, that's in case of an ICE where the battery doesn't get charged.

Yes, talking about the Apple App store and you should be using the Mercedes me connect app. The old Mercedes me app is for cars prior to MY2019. If you've installed it previously then just go ahead and delete it from your phone.
It may also be country specific (but the query from @AppleFan1 is in the US). In Canada I only see Mercedes me AM (ver 1.33.0) and Mercedes me Finance in the Apple App store.

I followed your instructions and clicked on profile picture on upper right hand corner. Then tapped on open area and dragged down. I don’t get the result you mentioned. It just goes back to the profile page.

Never mind. I saw a message come up about phone acting as a key but you must pay for this service. I honestly don’t care about this service. Why should I pay if the key fob works perfectly?
