last Monday my eqs580 sedan went into the MB shop to fix tailgate will not close at close button. SA told me there are few recall and update of SW
I got back my car on Friday and immediately notice consumption improvement about 3-5%. weekend driving also felt I use less % than usual
normally my average consumption from home to work is around 310-315 wh/mi, after SW updated, last Friday and today both around 295 kw/mi.
from work to lunch back to office normally at 310 kw/mi and today is at 299 kw/mi.
anyone else has similar result?
software version now I have is 330.xxxxx

Had this problem with my EQE SUV and they replaced the latch puller, then a couple of weeks later the tailgate would not open. It is in the shop for replacement of the puller motor that failed. No ETA on when the part will arrive or from where.

mine is lid button corrosion. they took a video and inside pins are bad. ETA from German is about 1 to 2 weeks. they will call me when the part arrive.

Outside temperature and wind conditions makes a huge difference on consumption. Were the temperatures and wind fairly similar before and after the SW update?

SoCal weather doesn’t change much since last week. Last week is 100, today is a bit cooler at 85/90. Can’t feel the wind.
actually today morning is cooler, around 65 at 7:30am. But I always plug in at 6:30 to warm up battery before I leave. So not much of different
