Crossing the US-Canada border

In July, I plan on making a long road trip in my EQS SUV - from California to Vancouver, Canada, then across BC to Calgary, Alberta - then returning to the US (via Montana). A couple of questions:
  • When I cross the border from the US to Canada, will my MBUX speed display automatically change from miles-per-hour to kilometers-per-hour? If not, then is there any way to change from miles-per-hour to kilometers-per-hour manually, while I'm driving in Canada? (Yes, I know that it's possible to get this 'coded', but that's not what I'm looking for.)
  • There are no "Electrify America" stations in Canada. Are there any other major charging stations in Canada on the Mercedes charging network (that will be used automatically when I route using MBUX)? Are there other charging networks in Canada that I should be aware of (that perhaps require the use of their own app)?

Sounds like a nice trip!
I've not tried this, but I would like to think that changing the units in MMe settings would synchronize with the car.

Try planning out your route and stop with https://abetterrouteplanner.com/. It will identify charging locations, and you can then research them to see if an app would be needed or just a credit card.

There is a feature in the menu to have a small km/h display on your dash. If you can't find it, let us know. I have it enabled on mine, so I see km/h in the upper right corner all the time.

I would like to think this too - but I've tried it, and it doesn't work. (The units settings (imperial or metric) affects only the Mercedes Me app.)

Speculation is fun, but in this case I was hoping to hear from someone who has actual experience crossing the US-Canada border in an EQS.

Yes, please let us know how to turn on this feature; I haven't seen how to do it.

Make sure to download and install the map content before you begin your road trip. Sounds fun!

My apologies, then.

This will help you to see the km/h as you drive through Canada. Select the "additional speedometer" option.

OK, I see it now. (I had to scroll down to see the "Units" menu.)

This gives me exactly what I wanted: The ability to see km/h on the display when I start driving in Canada.

Now for the second part of my question:
There are no "Electrify America" stations in Canada. Are there any other major charging stations in Canada on the Mercedes charging network (that will be used automatically when I route using MBUX)? Are there other charging networks in Canada that I should be aware of (that perhaps require the use of their own app)?
