Like the looks of both. Much more interested in the battery upgrade!

The article was wrong in calling this a "facelift".
Despite the significant increase in range, Mercedes doesn’t consider this a full mid-life facelift: instead, the platform’s chief project manager Holger Enzmann described the changes as “an upgrade before the update”.

IMO the Mercedes ornament has to go. For better or worse the EQs is not a limousine. It would need 3 more inches of rear headroom. The EQS has a refreshing purity of design, slapping unnecessary doodads to "mercedify" it are self defeating. I do like the g pseudo grill.

i thought we may get a classic with ornament and sports just like the current one? For the AMG, the star will not be there?
Not sure why the EQS is not getting the love. I have had a Tesla Model S before and other than the software, the EQS is on another level.

I'm tech savvy, but what's not to love about EQS tech? Model S looks gimmicky. A software shifter? A button horn? A button signal? 1 or 2 screens? I have 4 screens, and a tablet in the back. Gesture, and as much information about the tech in the EQS as I want about the rpm, torque, motor temp, and on and on. And yet, it stills looks nice.

Really enjoying my 2023 EQS580 after securing crazy March incentives and discounts. A change of grill doesn’t change the shape most don’t love. Actually think the new slats grill makes it look like a modern day Taurus. Original designs are usually better than warmed over refreshes. By the time my lease expires, the next gen will be even more excellent. Boy is it fast!

Does it really matter if it's 59.1% or 55.1% vs 3.4% or 3.9%? The point remains. Tesla completely dominates the US market.
Anywhosies, Mercedes' numbers don't look so bad no matter which dataset you chose to use (bigger isn't always better... I like small, well-validated data personally). So I really don't know why they're rethinking their Ev strategy. It actually looks like sales were pretty good to me.
