I think I've made that clear lol...clearly I'm not alone. Looking forward to the next generation of MB EVs and hopefully they will be more appealing to the masses like me.

If the production EQS looked like the EQS vision concept, they’d be sold out for the next 3 years…….MB execs shouldn’t have gone with the committee’s vote.

Yup. can't deny that, the copper also looks like a computer chip or heatsink.. on wheels. Sort of the theme with the air vents in the EQC, by the way, what happened to that thing anyways. Originally Posted by dmstl

As much as I like the concept EQS, it would not be a practical car that fits the bean counters at MB. Perhaps the 2nd Gen EQS will get closer to that form.

However, I with literally hundreds of 2023 EQS SUVs sitting unsold in tiny Canada, we can now get one at such significant discounts, it makes sense in many ways. Also, I can recharge the battery for $5, vs $200 to fill the tank of a similar gas powered Mercedes for similar range. Think about that!
I am smart enough to know that EVs are not "greener" than IEC cars; but it's good to have choice and there are some technical advantages. And if it costs 40X less to run, I'm definitely interested.
Depends on how you measure "greener". EV's have lower carbon impact on the climate over their life cycle than their equivalent ICE.Originally Posted by Surge
