I have found the wireless charger to be useless with an iPhone because it is too slow. Not 15W charging.
so I bought this product from Nomad and installed it. Works quite well and I am now getting 15W charger. The base is heavy so I can lift the phone off without the base lifting.

Why go through all that trouble? Simply plug the phone....
For what it's worth, my 2022 EQS had terrible wireless charging with both my iPhone and Android. Basically if I was running maps it would use more power than it recouped. I brought it in an they did some software update that greatly improved the charging. (granted they had my car for 3 weeks to do what couldn't have been more than a 10 minute update...but that's my incompetent dealership)

‘the issue with iPhone is that unless the charger is MagSafe certified you are going to get 7.5W charging. For 15W you need MagSafe. So the only way to get 15W wireless charging is to install a MagSafe pad.

yea i'm aware....but I wasn't even getting 7.5W initially with my iPhone 13. There was a bug in their software, saw the release notes on my maintenance report. Just a thought if anyone with an older EQS is getting really bad wireless charging
