Service reset not working

Please help! So I am actually a technician, all brands not specifically MB only. This is my vehicle 2022 EQS AMG, I can not get the service reminder (assyst plus) to reset. Actually I can't even get to that menu. Heres the deal:
I get in car, close doors.
Start button one time
Display on trip of course
Standard or classic display
Press and hold home for 10 seconds
Then I press the OK button this is supposed to be 10 seconds also but this doesn't work. I get a stupid pop up to "set a shortcut"

Have tried using my scan tool as well however this doesn't work on EQ models.

Please help, what am I doing wrong????

Try to shorten the time between releasing the Home button and pressing the OK button. Try using both hands. I have accessed the workshop menu several times, but, it was after many failed attempts.

Ok, I will try this in the morning, however I still think the problem is this "shortcut" message.

I'll report back....

Ok so update:

As per LAZARU5 I tried again using 2 fingers, the first holding the home button then immediately with second hitting the ok button. I was using my thumb on home then sliding it quickly to ok. Obviously this was not fast enough! LAZARU5 I did it your way and it worked straight away! Blows my mind it needs to happen in such a short amount of time. When I did it this way also the "shortcut" message did NOT pop up, so I would use that as a determination if you are doing it correctly or not.

Thank you LAZARU5 !!!!!

Were you doing the second 20000 mile service? If so did you do anything besides change filters, replace wiper blades, and inspect pads and rotors? I decided to skip the brake fluid flush at 40K miles since it was only 10 months since the dealer performed the complimentary 20K mile service.

Yes I did the complete 20K, the filters from the dealer are very expensive for filters! All pretty basic stuff.
