I have really enjoyed driving this car, but the time has come for me to go back to the brand I love the most - Porsche. The full details are up the classified section, but wanted to share some photos and my ownership experience on this amazing car which I think is an amazing deal for whoever gets it now that it is heavily depreciated.
Please note I can sell this car to Carmax for $55k tomorrow, and a local used car dealer is offering me $60k on a trade. Those come with sales tax benefits. So I have to have a decent spread to warrant the hassle of selling the car privately. Nonetheless the price listed $68k is the lowest I see anywhere for a car with this level of MSRP and equipment. I'm open to offers.
Not to be this guy, but it sounds like you could sell it to Carmax and we could buy it from them for less and we would be able to get financing and access to their warranty…. Might want to adjust the wording in your ad?

If you don't want to be that guy, don't be that guy. I can't edit it but Carmax doesn't have a warranty. I'm not expecting someone who buys cars from Carmax to buy this vehicle. As a personal rule I would never buy a car from Carmax - because they are mass market operation, and things can happen to the car in their system. It will get shuttled around on open trucks, it will be left outside, they won't have the means to maintain the battery at a suitable storage charge like I have. The best way to buy a used car is either directly from an enthusiast owner who has taken care of it, or to buy a CPO car from a dealer who has reconditioned the vehicle and backed it with an extended warranty. The other 2 cars in my garage came from enthusiast owners who looked after them. Both cars came with PPF. That is a good sign the previous owner cares.
Carmax won't sell it for less. You could get a lesser spec for less from Carmax. Here is one. Also a 580 but a base trim, base leather, none of the $25k of options on my car. https://www.carmax.com/car/25919902
This 450 is more comparable to mine in terms of miles, but again priced for same as what I am asking. But this is a moderately equipped 450 with the standard interior while mine is a fully equipped 580 with upgraded paint and interior. https://www.carmax.com/car/26130773

I appreciate how forthright you were in your post, and wish you the best of luck selling your car. If your lawn is any indiction of how you are, this car is a can't miss!! I'm not ready to go full EV yet, but if I were - I'd be all over this car.

I will. It has been a fun run on this board, and owning this car. Even though I am excited for the Taycan Cross Turismo, I have to say that to this date the EQS580 is the best car I have ever owned or driven. The level of refinement, technology and performance in this car is unparalleled and I doubt it will be exceeded until Mercedes launch the next EQS. Audi and BMW don't have anything similar. And while I do love the Porsche I am buying, it is not a luxury car but more like a rally car.

Unfortunately it also reminds me that I paid $145k out of pocket for it, and I don’t need a daily remember of making a bad decision. So while it is now depreciated, I’d rather it be an amazing bargain for someone else than a reminder to me of the worst spending decision I made.

But hey, the buying decision was made in the past and you'll only take the hit if you sell the car.
if you like the car, as you say you do, just keep it and you won't lose anything.
Fortunately i'm on the other side of the equation and already took advantage and bought two EQS at a great price.
I'm tempted to sell my EQB and replace it with this. We'd have two 2022 EQS 580, but what a car. Do you know the in service date? Will give it some thought.

To tempt you even more I am cutting the price to $63,000 since I have now taken delivery of my EQE AMG and am now storing the EQS offsite at my parents house.
