What are Tesla's charging prices like? (Probably less than EA)
Happy this will be sorted prior to my free charging expiration in the summer, choices are good.
Just tested at a local Tesla charger cost .36 kwh at noon time. So it seems very competitive unless you got free charging or charge at home.
I find it ironic that Musk haters will refuse to use the clearly superior Tesla Supercharger network and continue to use mediocre, poorly maintained, EA chargers. The legacy auto maker EV vehicle they are driving would probably not exist today if it weren't for Musk's vision two decades ago. I wonder if these same haters will refuse to buy an EV with a NACS charging port because they will be reminded of Musk every time they charge the car with the elegantly designed NACS connector. Don't get me wrong, I love Musk haters who will help minimize congestion at the Superchargers.
Well, there is some debate if it is superior. EA chargers can handle the higher voltages than the majority of the Tesla chargers which mostly top out at 400V. No argument about the widespread distribution and higher reliability, though. The interesting question is if Tesla really has recovered from firing the team that built that "superior" network. Not clear they have.
Called my dealer, no adapters yet and not ETA, said sometime in Q1 2025.
Did you specifically talk to the parts department? It is available now as a special order, with delivery in a few days - I just ordered one. Mercedes is targeting the rollout to complete by end of February if all goes well.
The adapters have been available to order since 2pm yesterday in Paragon (MB parts internal system)
also I still believe existing owners shouldn’t have to pay for an adapter and Mercedes Benz USA should send it free of charge like Ford, Rivian, Kia and others.

You can actually check pricing in the Tesla app. It changes throughout the day. Around me in NY/CT I see anywhere from $0.36 off peak to $0.62 right outside the Lincoln Tunnel.

How does the "real money" charging work with the Tesla app?
Example:
At a ChargePoint charger I plug in and the car is recognized, I tap "Continue" and mw's start flowing. The charge then shows up on the credit card in my Mercedes Me account.

I just picked up the NACS adapter from my MB dealer yesterday. haven't tried it yet, but will today. I have used the Lectron adapter many times and the MB version is produced by Lectron. In fact there name is all over it.
What app are you using? Mercedes Connect or Mercedes ME?
The Mercedes Me App on my iPhone was just updated. I did not have to go to the app store. It "pushed" the update to my iPhone.

I can confirm that Apple devices with Mercedes Me installed now allows you to toggle a switch to say you have and approved NACS adapter. I did this on my IPAD not sure what the hold up on Android devices in which I have a phone.
I called my local dealer as soon as I received the update in Mercedes Me. The dealer has ordered some of the adapters and says they'll be in stock in a week or so.
An email from MB earlier this month indicated that one would have to go to the dealer for a software update, but it appears from other posters and the Mercedes Me app that the update is actually pushed to the car once one clicks "I have an adapter".
I'm looking forward to eliminating range anxiety. Between EA chargers, MB chargers and now Tesla chargers, there should pretty much always be a charger available, although only EA and MB are free for the first two years.

I read on another site that the update to software is to allow plug and charge at Tesla stations but that a connection is available through the MB and Tesla apps even without the update to the car. Good to hear that MBUX automatically updates with superchargers!
I ordered (3 year one payment lease) the 2025 EQS 580 almost 2 weeks ago with all the options except for executive back seat. I don’t need that. The ordering was seamless. I was told that the cost will be at least $20K lower than the MSRP which means my cost will be about $115K instead of $135K. Obviously, the one payment lease means I will pay about $60K upfront with no monthly payments. I should have it sometime in April.

I will NEVER use a Tesla supercharger because I can’t stand the CEO. Musk is disgusting. I have no problems at all charging in EA chargers on my trips. I bet an unceasing number of people feel the same way I do.

You can probably do better than that if you have loyalty and can access the TruCar discount (check Sam's club and your local credit unions). Leasehakr is also a very useful site for information and, if you're a member, for checking money factors and overall lease deals.

I should have loyalty since this will be my 3rd MB from this dealer, right? I need to investigate these other apps you mentioned.
