You'll have loyalty if you're coming off of a current lease. Reignite if you have been with MB in the past. I think the benefit is the same, but you'll want to check.

Just an FYI, mbpartsource.com has the lectron adapter for order for $163.85 plus shipping. It was a bit difficult to find on their site but put in part number bq6670240 and it shows up.

Called the Dealer in NYC, they said they are not allowed to sell it until you get a software update.
Brought the one from mbpartsource.com, chat stated that it's the official adapter that Mercedes is selling.

The “Genuine Mercedes” adapter made by Lectron is simply recommended by Mercedes, you can by any NACS >CCS1 adapter. States it right on the charge screen in the car.
I bought this the other day for $120 on Amazon. Got it delivered the next morning. I just used it today to charge at a Tesla Supercharger. Worked great and easypeasy! Just install the Tesla app on your phone and fill in the deets. Slide the toggle within the Mercedes app to show you have the adapter. It’s magic. The car starts automatically showing all available Tesla Supercharger stations and status, just like the rest of the charge stations, right on the MBUX map.

I just got my new sticker and adapter yesterday, but no software changes. SĄ says that MBUSA has no idea what they’re doing with this rollout. Tested it and works nicely, albeit without plug-n-charge but I knew that.

I now have the Tesla chargers showing after tweaking the app settings. Will try my first Tesla charge tomorrow. Of course, wife wants to know why I spent $185 plus tax in order to pay for electricity when we usually charge at home and still have free EA charging available. All I could say is that You MBA's are just too numbers-driven.

That’s ridiculous. The MSRP is $185. I’ve had good experiences with mbpartsource.com. It’s my go to place for parts for my Mercedes. Even with shipping parts are cheaper than my local dealer. I think there are a couple other online Mercedes dealers that sell at discounted prices. I couldn’t find the nacs adapter elsewhere though.

Has anyone charged yet at a Tesla charger using the MB adapter via the Mercedes app? The supplemental instructions indicate starting the charge in the app or on the head unit prior to plugging in the charging cable. Could someone confirm this works or has anyone had success plugging in cable first and then initiating charge.

Got the same BS from White Plains MB Went to Manhattan and picked it up. I have two, probably take the one from the dealer back-cost me $290 after their upcharge, tax and 3% cc fee. Evem with a restocking fee, i should save $60 bucks!!

MBPARTSOURCE is a Mercedes dealer. They just have an aggressive business plan selling discounted parts online.
I presume you meant Mercedes White Plains rather than BMW. I would demand a full refund with no restocking fee and a return as well of the CC surcharge. Advise them that you "discovered" they charged significantly above the list price of the item and that you will give a bad review to MBUSA. If these dealers fear anything it is a bad review which impacts performance bonuses.
Meanwhile, to answer my own question (I posted in the EQB forum), simple to charge. First figure out how to back your car between chargers so the cable can reach (there will be a third-party extension cable for $288). Definitely start the charge in the app and then plug in. Simple. My dealer said it could be 6 months before plug and play update.

Yes, fixed the dealership. My GF has a BMW from up there, so I am always doing that.
