AMG Friends:

Schiznick and I have been organizing this event since just after Christmas. We are excited about the folks who are planning to attend and expect this will be a quality event. Most importantly, it will be the best opportunity to meet many other AMG folks (outside of an AMG Challenge) and even enjoy a little friendly competition.

We encourage you to invite your spouses or significant others as well.

This post will briefly summarize the schedule for the weekend and also serve as the focal point for those planning to attend:


Friday, April 29th - Arrival

The host hotel will be the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites located in Peachtree City, GA. You'll need to make reservations directly with the hotel at (770)487-4646.

We plan on having dinner at Ted's Montana Grill nearby and will depart from the hotel for dinner. We need a solid headcount for dinner. Please indicate if you'll be joining us for eats.

Saturday - April 30th

9:30am - Meet at Peachtree City Airport for Photo Shoot. An F-16 will serve as our backdrop! Directions to the airport can be found here: www.kffc.org

11:30am - Depart for lunch. A representative from AMG will be on hand for a short presentation and Q & A.

1:30pm - Caravan to Allspeed for dyno testing. The cost (three pulls each) is $55 per car (air/fuel ratio results $10 additional) . This will be another great place to have some photos or video taken of your car in action! **NOTE** They will only be able to dyno 3 or 4 cars per hour. I'll start a "sign up" sheet for the dyno runs as there may be limited capacity.

Sunday - May 1st - DRAG DAY - ALL CARS WELCOME!

8:00am - Depart from hotel parking lot for Silver Dollar Raceway. We will be the guests of the Georgia F-Body Association. The gate fee is $10 and the tech card is just an additional $15. BRING A HELMET.

This truly unique AMG weekend is cost-free, excepting your food and if you choose to participate in the dyno pulls Saturday afternoon or drag racing on Sunday. Again, we are looking forward to meeting many of the MBWorld enthusiasts!
