Lisa, do you know which one offers a better atmosphere, to be able to talk in a round-table format, during/after dinner ???
Time: Dinner time. What do you guys think ?? 6 pm
is that too late for those who have to be somewhere else afterwards ???
we can make it earlier (5 pm) or whatver works best for everyone.
You are welcome to bring a guest, like I mentioned before. But just know, that we'll have to have an informal planning meeting at some point. Clubbing & dancing is optional for anyone who wants to hang around and go somewhere.
Don't intend to make this into a "meet", just dinner & planning.
I'll have a little agenda drawn up with talking points. Please feel free to jot down some of your ideas to discuss. Oh, and by the way, I'm not making myself the self-appointed leader of this shin-dig. I just want to create a group that takes into consideration the ideas/concerns/isssues associated with SoCal MB/AMG meets, and proposes well-organized, highly-publicized, event-full meets.

13th of AUGUST
Tia Juana's
6 PM
SoCal MB Meet Committee:
LA - Glendale - BenzoBoi - (Sun)
LA - North Hills - rammbs - (Ram)
OC - Anaheim - ChrisDPham - (Chris)
OC - Huntington Beach - lisamcgu - (Lisa)
Riv - Corona - AMG_Eric - (Eric)
SD - Encinitas - Justinius7 - (Justin)
SD - Hillcrest - CitronC230K_03 - (Douglas)
SD - Mira Mesa - Saprissa - (Carlos)
each can bring one guest if they wish.
Choice 4 - Good because it is in between the 5 and the 405 (you can see it from the 5) at Sand Canyon, which is kinda in the center of OC, between LA and SD with lots of free open parking in its own lot. Salsa dancing starts at 8:30 pm and its just down the street from Irvine Spectrum for those wanting to go there afterward for a movie or whatever.
Tia Juana's Long Bar & Restaurant
14988 Sand Canyon Ave 4
Irvine , CA 92618
(949) 551-2998
This restaurant offers diners a chance to indulge in the unique flavors and spices of South America. The menu features a selection of Latin dishes with choices in appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrees. Even more exciting is the live music sure to get everyone on his or her feet. Don't know how to salsa? Don't worry because this place also offers lessons Thurs-Sat. Tia Juana runs happy hour specials each weekday from 3pm to 8pm. So come eat, drink, listen to a Peruvian band, take a salsa dance lesson or just get out on the floor and enjoy the culture that only Tia Juana can show you. The prices are moderate at this festive local favorite.

Sun & I will park off in a corner overlooking the herd of 201's....
the thrill of the hunt, waiting for the kill....
except we're all good ! MB's rule !
