Anyone around here doing GTs in ORlando? or NEAR?

 

Hey man whats up..I was just about to post a topic like this...I was wondering how many people were in the orlando area......I am in Orlando near UCF wanting to find some people to ride with. It would be nice to get a little benz club going on local.

Hey folks, trying to get a Orlando get together going. Lots of people claim they want to do it, then never back it up - so what I am proposing because it is kind of hard to check the forms all the time is to create a phone list for the locals. Or at least a email list so we can have direct contact with one another.

Maybe we can get together on the weekend sat/sunday during the day and do a cruise for lunch or something? Good way to represent the Mercedes Benz's. Young and old alike! =)

Which performance level eisenmann exhaust do you have and what style tips?

 

What ever happened to this idea? We have enough people to make a decent get together? I am from SW Florida (Naples/Ft Myers) so it would be a drive for me. New to the board just got a Renntech C320 sports coupe and love it!

madmunky... i have the sport exhaust, with 83mm tips... fits and sounds great

 

I will still meet up...I say we set up for one saturday night and go to Waterford Lakes off alafaya....Lots of cars shows go on there, and we would get alot of attention there....Waterford lakes is in Orlando off the alafaya exit.

Hey I'm in Jacksonville, FL. I want to come along if you guys happen to meet on a weekend.

 

where do you guys want to meet? Gainesville? Orlando? Which is more centrally located for everyone?

 

Im in Orlando..every lets say the location..this would be fun.

 

Orlando OR Gainesville would be fine with me... My folks live near Daytona, so I can see them and see some other nice cars in one trip =)

 

We have been talking about this forever..lets see if we can get this to work out...I have a place we can go and its very nice...Its in Orlando, and its in Waterford Lakes shopping center...Its like a outdoor mall and a movie theater....Many people go there and they use to hold TONS of car shows and still do on weekends...Whoever is interested, email me, and ill call the mangement of the property to get permission....They will even rope our cars so nobody can park in our area....just need to make sure we have enough people first....I pick Saturday..Any Saturday day or night will be fine...Please let me know your feedback

i think late afternoon/evening would be better, that way most of us that have to make drives won't drive at night when most of the bugs are attracted to headlights. God knows the 3 1/2 hour drive from Miami is going to leave my car pretty dirty by the time i get there. But i think it would be a great idea, i would definitely go but we definitely have to have plenty of time in advance b/c i work saturdays and i'm sure a lot of others do as well

 

Benz, your place in Orlando sounds good to me! Time wise, im flexible as I will probably stay with family the day before. Count me in!
