The 10 member committee is a round-table organization dedicated to the successful planning and execution of the 4 main Southern California MB/AMG meets held each year.

This is not an exclusive group; only trying to make our BIG meets better for all, so we don't come across the unpleasantries experienced in poorly-organized / executed past SoCal meets. There are many other localized, smaller, and all-Euro meets also held throughout the year, so we want to deconflict dates and schedules as much as possible to get the best MB / AMG turnouts at the 4 main MB/AMG SoCal meets !


This restaurant offers diners a chance to indulge in the unique flavors and spices of South America. The menu features a selection of Latin dishes with choices in appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrees. Even more exciting is the live music sure to get everyone on his or her feet. Don't know how to salsa? Don't worry because this place also offers lessons Thurs-Sat. Tia Juana runs happy hour specials each weekday from 3pm to 8pm. So come eat, drink, listen to a Peruvian band, take a salsa dance lesson or just get out on the floor and enjoy the culture that only Tia Juana can show you. The prices are moderate at this festive local favorite.

Good because it is in between the 5 and the 405 (you can see it from the 5) at Sand Canyon, which is kinda in the center of OC, between LA and SD with lots of free open parking in its own lot. Salsa dancing starts at 8:30 pm and its just down the street from Irvine Spectrum for those wanting to go there afterward for a movie or whatever.

Committee members, please bring your ideas / suggestions / complaints / solutions / and one guest if you wish. Bring some notebooks & pens !

I've got 5x8 card holders with lanyards to pass out, with directions on how to create your own MB/AMG Meet Card for all future meets !

Premise is: on a 5x8 card include the following:
- your MBWorld / BenzWorld / MBKlasse / W202 / whatever forum screen-name on top.
- a sharp color picture of your car in the middle.
- your real name (first only is OK) at the bottom.

Some of us are going to be at the W201 Meet earlier that day in LADERA RANCH,
so if you want to come up/down early, we'll see ya there.... otherwise,
please be at Tia Juana's by 6 PM sharp !

I think Vic should rep the SCV, i mean he does have one of the fastest cars on this Board, although he wont admit that its fast or that its not stock.

 

That's a busy day, but the timing at 6 pm is perfect. I'm pretty sure I will be able to make it on time.

Its pretty fast and its fairly stock I actually would love to rep the SCV but can't do this Saturday even if I was the chosen one. Maybe next time?

BIMMERFEST = BENZFEST in scope.

with MBUSA support, sponsors, and that kinda thing....
maybe one of those a year (250+ cars), and the remaining 3 a little less intimidating and planning intensive (kinda like we've done at the Rose Bowl, Encinitas, etc...) in the past (100+ cars).

we'll talk about it all....

This years bimmer fest was AT LEAST 1000 cars, with about a 200 car caravan from SFV alone, maybe even more from SFV. People come in all across the country for Bimmerfest.

 

it would be nice if we can match that attendance!

 

looks like me and my benzo will make it. i repaired the smashed up parts today and all i have to finish is buying new rims. so 6pm. and i might meet up with u all in ladera ranch.
