And for those of you without Command, go to route 1 in Edison and look for the massive Ray Catena Mercedes, Jaguar, Rolls, Porsche, Space Shuttle dealer building across from the Ford plant.

we're making some progress at ray catenas...
from SLK Boy at benzsport, "Ok...I talked to my dealer, and he will find out whether we can have a meet there...he said most likely we can...they will probably provide a bbq, give away some keychains, hats, t-shirts, etc. They'll also have the new CLK, SL, and E on display (they have 5 CLK500's and 1 CLK320 right now and 3 SL's if anyone is interested..hehe..oh, and a capri blue C32).
Right now, he'll see if we can have it on 9/21 or 9/22. So how bout it? Come on down to Edison NJ!"

we're still awaiting slk boy's confirmation of the meet happening at ray catena mb dealership. it should be either the 21 or 22.
if for some inexplicable reason, he cannot confirm it, we'll still meet at edison, nj - but probably at the mall there - on the 21st at 11am.

Why not do it at CEC...I am sure that they would love to see a mercedes gathering at there place and would probably sponsor it. It makes much more sense to have it somewhere where you can by parts to fix up the mercedes, Than to have it at a place where they pretty much only sell them.

It's right by me, actually. I just talked to them - the showroom's in West LA; the Teterboro facility is a warehouse only, so it doesn't sound like it'd be too exciting, unless you get off on forklifts.

Im sorry...i thought they has a show room too...guess not...but they do have some nice cars on there site!....Anyway...do you have some type of sign up for the shows...thinking maybe I can attend one...Im in NJ and NY all the time..

I worked at Kmart in college, and they got me a forklift driver's license so I could move around the garden supplies. When no customers were around, we used to do time trials on the 2-speed manual -tranny forklift.
Yes, we were desperate for excitement.
