Ok, its been confirmed. Track day is officially 9/18/06. Now I need to give them an accurate head count of how many people are going to show up so let me know if you can make it. Thanks.

Talked to Capitol again today to see if we can get some heads up racing going on. Due to insurance the answer is no. But if anyone wants to stick around til 4pm, a bird in the sky told me we can make a few passes head to head

Just a reminder. Track day is Sep. 18th from 11am-4pm at Capitol Raceway. www.capitolraceway.com If we get 75% of the people who said they would come to show up it will be 100 dollars per car.

If you guys can get a pic of each car, I can put them up. Otherwise, I will juse use stock photos from the Web.

Heck, if you have the time/patience to take pictures from around the car, I can put up a 360-view or if you can at least take still pictures in sequence, I can make a stop-action animation (see my sig for sample prototypes)

We need some more benzes! Anybody want to bring a 63? Drove a CLS63 for less than a minute in a parking lot. It was nice but still think the 55 will beat it.

Well Rob Allen said the 63 was running quicker in the 1/4 by a couple tenths of a second consistently. We both know the driver in the 55 video wasnt anywhere near good and like you said once he got traction was realing in the 63. The 55 had alot of wheel spin too. All that being said, Rob said the 55 was running 12.8's at the track when I have seen Wayne (on this forum) run a 12.0 stock at one of our rentals. Only time will tell.

Wow, we are getting quite alot of people. The max allowed was 15 for rentals but I spoke to them and since I have rented before they are allowing more people. Theres always noshows anyway. New list:

We are just one week away! We may have an E63 comin if he decides to pick it up from the dealer. One of my friends with a turbo 328i may be coming as well if he gets his engine put back together by then (On the quest for 1000whp! Was at 635whp on stock internals before he tore it down to rebuild it for 1000) if not, he'll be at the next event which should be some time in October.
In terms of weather, weather.com is predicting it to be cloudy with a high of 81 with only 10% chance of rain!
