haha. Yea, I'm sure its real slow! There will be some other 996TT's there as well. Looks like we are gonna have a nice turnout. More than we ever had at any other track day. As long as we get 13 people to show up its only $100/car.
And one more thing, we may have a E63 coming
Those that want to run heads up races wait til 4pm. I have talked to the people at the track and they will let us run a few heads up!

Tomorrows the big day! There will be ALOT of VERY nice cars coming and it will be a good mix of cars too. I will be there around 10am. Track will be prepped by 11am so whoever is there by 11 can start runnin their cars. Weather.com is calling for a sunny high of 86 with only 20% chance of rain. Thats a little warm but I'll take it! There will be a waiver everybody has to sign before they track their cars (track rules) and you will put a number of your choosing on your window (cant have duplicates). We will collect the money up front to get it out the way. I hope it doesnt end up like last time where I had to pay out of my own pocket because alot of people didnt show up. If you dont have a helmet the track has loaner helmets. See you all in 24 hours!
PS- based on previous experience, you may want to bring some foldout chairs and some food/drinks. There are places close by to grab something to eat but I'm not very familiar with the area.

I guess its too late to take that bet but theres a camaro coming that will be giving you a run for your money. It would be nice to see you 2 run heads up!
Slow 996TT- Nice cars! We are gonna have ALOT of nice cars today! Are they all "slow" like yours? lol 2 other lambo's are maybe's as well. And you will have plenty of 996TT's there to keep you company.

I will be setting up another track day on a friday in october. We will see how todays track day goes. If its too crowded we will have to limit the number of cars. The other rentals had too few. I just want everybody to get their moneys worth!

Thanks to everybody that came to the track and it was nice meeting those of you that I havent met before. Unfortunately there were alot of no shows. Anybody that has pics and vids please post them up either in this thread or a new thread. Thanks. Will try to set another event up when it cools down i late October on a friday. Will probably take a 50 dollar deposit this time. It was really hot and thats why people were runnin slower than usual.

Dont worry about it. We hit the 13 car minimum so it was just $100/car, thanks for the offer though. I cant see the pic you posted. Maybe you can make the next event.

HOLY *****, I'm sunburned to a crisp. Wayne, I should've taken the sunscreen you were offering. I'm an idiot. Anyway, great meeting everyone. I wish I could've hung out more and met EVERYONE but getting that EL Camino down the track is a two man job.
BTW...best run in that thing was a 9.27@148 mph
She normally runs 8.9x at about 152 but the heat just zapped us.

Dude, the GT is sweet. Looks like you'll be scraping burnt rubber off the back bumper for a while. Did you ever just take my advice and tach her up and dump the clutch? I took off after we spoke and I didn't get to see you run after that.
Thanks to Ahmad for setting the whole thing up. And I didn't get a chance to tell you but your car looks sweet in person. Wasn't sure how I was gonna like the CF hood but it looks real good man.
Good chance my bro and I will be in for the next meeting. Hopefully we can keep the thing from catching fire next time.
