For those of you in WLA/Santa Monica/South Bay/SFV that are goin' to Summerfest O.C. this coming Saturday (8/26/06), I was tryin' to put together a caravan to head down to Summerfest.

I know Frank and a few people have a caravan heading out from the Diamond Bar area, but for those that are coming from the westside, thought I'd put it out there to see who would be interested in meeting up to caravan down to O.C. So far I've only spoken to nlpamg about it and we are planning on meeting up at Alpine Village (110/405 transition) in Carson. There's a big parking lot where we can all gather first and head out from there. For those of you that are hungry for speed (or have aftermarket exhausts), just keep in mind that area is right next to a CHP station.

So, right now, we're looking to meet up at 11:30am at Alpine Village. Sign up, if you want to caravan with us:

Sounds fine with me, mj. If the people who are caravaning from Glendale are willing to meet up at Alpine Village (since it's on the way to O.C.), I'd be down to combine. Is there a thread on that one already? If not, if we could get all the peeps that were planning to caravan from there to sign up here, I think it'll be good.

I know that Frank was planning one that would meet up in Diamond Bar, but I know that there are a few people that this would be counter-productive (i.e. unnecessary mileage) to get to O.C., so just wanted to provide an alternate caravan.

What's up everybody! I initially started this caravan in the w203 and C32/C55 forums, but I'm gonna open this up to all the MB's who want to caravan from Alpine Village in Carson/Torrance. This is just another meeting spot for "convenience."

Let's all meet up on the portion of the parking lot furthest away from Alpine Village. Since it's gonna be 1130am, I'm figuring there will be a few cars there already, so it'll be easier to meet further away where we can park the cars next to each other.

That's mine. The wheels are 18" TSW Kyalami. They look alright in that picture but I'm not satisfied with them. The guy who owned the car before me put them on but I'm looking for replacements. No engine mods yet, don't know if I want to put too much money into an '01 although I'd love to supercharge it. I just installed an Eisenmann racing exhaust on it, I'll post some videos in the E55 forum when I get some.
