Was fun guys ... made it back to Houston in 9 hours - i got pulled over twice on the way home ... lol.
First time was not far from the track, me and james both got pulled over by the same cop at the same time.
Clocked me at 100Mph, and James at 82Mph ... gave us tickets and let us go ... said he had caught an S430 not long before at 112Mph - weird because neither of our radar/laser detectors went off.
Then I got stopped about 30 miles away from my house for doing 75 in a 65 ... i almost laughed in his face when he told me, I really can't believe he bothered pulling me over for that... he gave me just a warning for speeding and no front license plate and let me go.

Congrats on a great meet. Wish life and work was different and I could have made the roadtrip, as Steve did this summer in this direction. ...I guess that's why I'm not deserving of an expenses paid trip on MB/AMG to the Fadduland and he was.

I'll post all my images here plus a few on the lounge. may be a while before there uploaded though. Dr Dredd.. we only got pulled once in 2800 miles, guess we were just driving two slow. Got hit up on the Laser shifter twice at silly speeds so really glad I had that.

So how do we want to begin thinking about this? I can set up a private area where only we have access, plus any other people involved that come along? That way we are free to chat and only release major news?

Just realize there are 100s of hours in planning and I want to chill a bit before plunging into the next major project (at least after Thanksgiving). By no means do you need to wait for my lead for anything....I'm just a enthusiast/dude with no agenda other than to have fun!You guys might want to begin another thread to float the idea....see what response you might get.
I will say there are others looking into organizing some events, perhaps on a regional scale...if I hear anything definite, I'll be sure to pass it along. I keep hearing the same thing over and over....track day (road course), but there may be other side-events that can blend together to make one 3 or 4 day meet (rallies or road tour, car show, tour of a VPC or similar facility, etc....
Wait! The MBCA already does all that (Starfest, anyone?)....I just may end up going to one of their regional or national meets. They have dozens of volunteers AND the bankroll to make it happen.

I'm going to let the dust settle first on the meet we just had. My wife misses me Just realize there are 100s of hours in planning and I want to chill a bit before plunging into the next major project (at least after Thanksgiving).
