Sacramento California Euro Sunday 2007 Calendar
EuroSunday started in 2006 and has been building by E-Mail and word of mouth, we now get about 75 cars at each event, everything from the some mighty Lambo’s to a very cute old Frog eyed Sprite, I used to drive an MG midget in the UK and I used tell people that you did not drive the car your wore it! The last event (11/26/06) had few benzes including a very nice black CLK55, I took my Boxster (it was a good top down day) in January I will take the CLK.
Here are some pictures from some prior events with many thanks to Tim O'Sullivan! Tim is a local and very talented artist who has been to some of our events and recently posted his works on EuroSunday. Incredible work....an absolute must see!

The underlying fear was that we were in competition for attendance
because of the holiday weekend. Attendance was not a problem! While we
did not fill up the lot as we hoped (that would have taken close to 400
vehicles). We did have our highest turnout since inception though!
Makes me think twice about promoting this event for tiny Pavilions next
month.
Well anyways, the pictures are up on the site
http://eurosunday.net/images.htm. We are still waiting on Josh and Tim
to get theirs available as well for posting.
Many new faces and many faces from the past! Frank and his Maranello,
Josh with his Modena, Dan with his 355, Richard and Mike with the
classic Citroens, Jonathon with his 360 Spider, Mary with her Z4, Rick
with his M5, Larry with his Porsche TT, Sebastian and Rick with their
Ford GTs, and Jay with a very rare M5 (and a great acquisition story).
In addition to these, we also had Maserati, Lotus, Vespa, Ducati,
Morgan, Jaguar, Austin Healy, De Lorean, Fiat, AC Cobra, Mustang GT,
Triumph, Alfa Romeo, Lamborghini, Audi, Mercedes, Pantera, MG, and VW
representations. Many thanks to the Pantera, MG, BMW, and British car
clubs' for getting their members interest sparked in this event again!
Our breakfast meet and caravan was very a "spirited" ride towards Towe
for the event. We actually made a quick detour to pick up a few more
cars in addition to the 3 others we found on Hwy 50 towards the
downtown. Everyone seemed to be pulled back in their seats with smiles
on their faces as we continued to be more and more "spirited" down the
road with a caravan of about a dozen cars. We had lots of people
turning their heads to see what went by and what was still coming!
Adam had an extremely successful afternoon drive to Silverado in Napa.
About 2 dozen cars altogether. The "spirited" group and the "cruise"
group. Lots of pictures, great comments, smooth, and well organized
drive. Fantastic reception from the winery (they actually invited ES
back for a photo shoot). Thanks for leading this one Adam!
Club organizers....we need help for the fundraiser in September! We
will be raising money for Sacramento Child Advocates through a combo of
car rally, scavenger hunt, and donations. This will be for all car
clubs (i.e. Corvette, PT Cruisers, Mopar, ES regulars. and all Euro
Clubs) . We want to raise money, awareness, give away prizes and
awards, all while doing team events or individual events ending in a
huge BBQ car show! Contact us a events@eurosunday.net
<mailto:events@eurosunday.net> for more info.
So....Towe wants us back, Silverado invited us back, huge turnout of
vehicles, possible article in local magazine about a future event...I'd
say things are going very well. See you at the Pavillions in June.
My car is the white Boxster in the pictures above, I will take the benz next time!
