Thought i'd start up a caravan thread for those who are or who will be attending the Mercedes Benz Tri-State meet being held on January 20, 2007.

The starting point of this caravan is CalStar Mercedes Benz. Here's the details.

Glendale Caravan Info Below:

I know the meet starts at 12 noon but since it's saturday with traffic etc and per Mapquest travel time is approximately 53mins, we should have plenty of time and also get some good parking spots.

Here's the directions below from CalStar to Tia Juana.

1: Start out going NORTH on S BRAND BLVD toward E CHESTNUT ST. 0.2 miles

2: Turn LEFT onto W COLORADO ST. 0.6 miles

3: Turn SLIGHT LEFT to take the GOLDEN STATE FWY / I-5 ramp. 0.1 miles

4: Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp. 0.3 miles

5: Merge onto I-5 S toward LOS ANGELES. 46.3 miles

6: Take the SAND CANYON AVE exit- EXIT 96A. 0.2 miles

7: Turn RIGHT onto SAND CANYON AVE. 0.3 miles

8: Make a U-TURN onto SAND CANYON AVE. 0.2 miles

9: End at 14988 Sand Canyon Ave
Irvine, CA 92618-2103, US

Suns E is a 2003. He is the first person I know that had an E55 in the W211 format.

You owe me a ride in your beast sooner or later james. Ive been drooling over you and vics cars for the past 2 years almost now and its about time i got to smell the seats of your car.

Fred you have a better chance of riding Halle Berry.

There may be a way for all the caravans (coming from the North part of LA) to end up at a central meeting spot and heading to Tia Juana's together.

There's a big auto store called Super Autobacs in Stanton, CA (Orange County) that is off the 22 freeway. It has a big parking lot and if we could coordinate for all the caravans to get there by a certain time, it might just work perfect (I know, it would be a pain to have another stop before going to Tia Juana's). The address is 12645 BEACH BLVD, Stanton, CA, 90680. Check mapquest/yahoo maps if you want to see how to get there.

Since the people heading up from South of LA are meeting up at the Spectrum, this might be an idea to combine all the caravans coming from the north part of LA (whether it's NE or NW). Just an idea that I wanted to throw out there, but if everybody is down to do that, it might just work out perfect for ALL of us to roll to the meet at the same time.

I've been to other meets and I know there have been other car forums that scheduled this place as their central gathering before heading elsewhere.

For all the coordinators, if this seems like a plan that everybody would be okay with, then let me know so that I can merge the caravan threads.

Question for the attendees(caravaners on this list). As what drexappeal was saying there's a big auto store called Super Autobacs in Stanton. Did you guys want to stop by there and join up with the others or just go straight to the meeting place? Open to suggestions here. If i don't hear from anyone we'll just go straight to the meeting place.

5 cars (glendale) aren't whole lot for caravan... i say we JOIN!

Looks like everybody wants to stick to their original plans, so that nobody gets lost...LOL.

We can save Super Autobacs for next time (whenever the next meet at Tia Juana's will be).

If my sound system done in time and I don't have any business trip meeting..... .. I be coming with the BRABUS 5.8 Silver Arrow, year 2002........ Only 2 in the world......!! so put me down for maybe.......
