Tentative route:

Starting in Mira Mesa
5/805 merge
5 NORTH
Camp Pendleton / Oceanside Freeway Rest Stop
The SPECTRUM @ the 5/405 merge
TiaJuanas in Irvine

OK,
I did a little reconn of the PARK & RIDE off the 805 N on ramp near Mira Mesa Blvd.

If you're coming NORTH on the 805, here's the exit you get off on:
Mira Mesa Blvd / Vista Sorrento Parkway

Turns out the Sorrento Valley Road off ramp is the next one, but that will pass the PARK & RIDE.

So get off on Mira Mesa Blvd.

At the end of the off-ramp, stay on your left lane and continue straight across the light. Almost as if you were going to get back on the 805 N.

Once you cross the light, you will see the On-Ramp to the 805 N on your left and the PARK & RIDE lot just past that, also on the left.






If you're coming down Mira Mesa Blvd, then turn right where you normally would turn on Sorrento Valley Road to get on the 805 N, but don't get on the freeway, instead you will see the PARK & RIDE on your left.

So let's meet there at 9:30 AM with coffee in hand, and ready to roll out no later than 9:45.

From there we will be cruising up the 5 NORTH, and be at the Camp Pendleton freeway Rest Stop around 10:20-10:30. Anyone from North County that is coming up the 15 to the 76 or 78 and merging up on the 5, can meet us at that rest stop north of Oceanside.

After that, we will meet some other caravans at the SPECTRUM in Irvine, just past the 5 / 405 merge. We will try to be there at around 11:00 by 11:15.

From there, it's a quick 5 minutes to TiaJuanas in Irvine, off Sand Canyon Road.

Do not tell me that you just drove up right now to take those pics.

He is x9999999999999999999999 better than mapquest and yahoo maps put together!

dude it was like a 8.3 minute drive (there & back)... I live right off the 805 Mira Mesa / Sorrento Valley exit.

Very nice... I office there at SDTC.

so is everyone cool with a 9:30 roll up at the PARK & RIDE ???

Carlos we are still on to meet at the south end of the Spectrum around 1030-11am right? Its the Target parking lot.

We are aiming for 11 AM at the SPECTRUM Target parking lot.

Just be there... you don't have to wash your car.... we are leaving at 9:45 SHARP !! Have a tight schedule to keep to meet up with the Oceanside Rest Stop people and the SPECTRUM people.
