James,
Going the Glendale route adds about 30 min.
A race with your K car sounds good. Hmm?

If you go down see if you can hit the 5 South Fwy. From there exit Glendale blvd and follow the address going to CalStar Mercedes and then we’ll all roll down together. Should be nice since we’ll have a fair amount of cars rolling down. Let me know or PM me and I’ll give you my cell.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
TBD: The 5 usually isnt that bad///but I will go with what the majority says (Angela has veto power...I am the newbie..not to be confused with newbile ;-) )!
Jam: WHy don't we all meet somewhere in the middle and roll as one large group. We could meet somewhere like the 105, then take the 605 to the 57 I believe it is straight into Irvine...
Fwy = too risky.
Heading inland to meet up with the Glendale Caravan is somewhat out of the way for you all.
Based on your initial meeting time, it seems like it would be ideal for you all to meet up at Coffee Bean or Calabasas Mercedes (off the 101, right?) and then hit the 405 to meet up with us at South Bay Pavillion. I'm actually located near the 405/101 transition, but there aren't many places I can think of in the Encino/Sherman Oaks area that would be good meeting spots.
Ideally, it'd be awesome to have a central place for all of us, but that's just the drawback of LA being so spread out.
Topless your power doesn't override mine. LOL Evo built my car and I have made enough trips down south to know the fastest way. Plus I drive to L.A. and Glendale all the time and it will take longer. That's all.
Topless do mapquest and it will send you via the 405. We could meet up by my house earlier and do the PCH/Malibu drive on the way to meet the other guys? They could meet us off the 10/405? Just make sure you can keep up Mister.
I'm sure Roupin and Glassjaw will roll with us as well. I am going to PM them right now. I am also going to invite Loren to the meet. He lives in the valley and just had a baby.

There's a big auto store called Super Autobacs in Stanton, CA (Orange County) that is off the 22 freeway. It has a big parking lot and if we could coordinate for all the caravans to get there by a certain time, it might just work perfect (I know, it would be a pain to have another stop before going to Tia Juana's). The address is 12645 BEACH BLVD, Stanton, CA, 90680. Check mapquest/yahoo maps if you want to see how to get there.
Since the people heading up from South of LA are meeting up at the Spectrum, this might be an idea to combine all the caravans coming from the north part of LA (whether it's NE or NW). Just an idea that I wanted to throw out there, but if everybody is down to do that, it might just work out perfect for ALL of us to roll to the meet at the same time.
I've been to other meets and I know there have been other car forums that scheduled this place as their central gathering before heading elsewhere.
For all the coordinators, if this seems like a plan that everybody would be okay with, then let me know so that I can merge the caravan threads.

I am down to meet you at your place or Coffee Bean. PCH thru Malibu is my usual route and I would love to go that way then hook up with Southbay group. Keeping up.....I will c what I can do
Are you guys interested in meeting us where the 10&405 meet? I will be there this weekend and can pick us a good spot to meet up. I know you both have to pass that way to meet up with the other crew. The other crew are meeting up right before the 22. That is only minutes from the meet. LOL
I say we all meet up on time and head down the 30-45 min. to meet them?
We could meet the other guys off the 10 and then head to OC to meet the other group? How many guys are coming with you from S.B.? I'm pretty sure we can pull this off with the right planning?
Veto power? Haha I can't wait to meet you! It will be nice to have someone close with the same hobby.
It will be nice to have someone local..can't wait to see your ride
