there should be a lot of people going, because all those who can't make the Mercedes-Benz ROSE BOWL Meet on May 12th, have said that they are going to the AMG Challenge in Fontana for the weekend....
so there should be quite a few people from SoCal at the AMG Challenge !

What do you get ?
I went last year to Fontana.
And going this year and taking my son too.
You get to drive a bunch of new AMG`s as well
as receive some professional driving instruction.
Really allot of AMG "Seat time".
Road Course, Autocross, Karting,
Short drag course. Nothing like flooring a SL65
for a 1/8 mile.
Drive the Fontana speedway in several AMG`s.
Speed up to 135 on the oval.
Meet some great AMG people and professional drivers.
Awesome breakfast and lunch. Champagne at the finish.
Nice bag of AMG SWAG. Shirt, Hat, CD, Etc.
Small CD of you in a E55 with the speed and RPM on the screen.
Very cool.
Fastest times on the Autocross got an expensive IWC Watch.
Worth several thousand bucks.....
They give you a certificate for a refund on the cost if you buy a new
Benz that year. $ 1200.00
I look at it this way. What does a set of tires cost ? $ 1200.00 for my SL55.
What does a day at the track cost ? Several hundred plus the wear and tear
on my car. So its not really a bad deal from that perspective.
