Ling, do you know if the lot is gonna be sectioned off by manufacturer (i.e. Benz, Bimmer, VW, Audi, etc...)? Or is it basically first come first serve whenever you get there is where you'll end up parking?

The OC Caravan is meeting up the SD guys so we can all park together. I'm sure Lon will do his best to try and get all the benzes together but no guarantees since I'm sure we will have some people show up that didn't RSVP. Just wake up Drex

I'm used to doing that one the weekdays, but rarely on the weekends. But, I guess it's all worth it if we all end up parking next to each other.

I'm sure he'll eventually come back and read this thread so hopefully he can chime in but that's what I got from our last conversation. I'm sure there will be people who did not RSVP like last year and manage to squeeze in somehow. It is highly recommended that you get there early so you don't get put in the boonies by yourself.

Signed up as well. I went to HIN at Qualcomm Stadium last year to spectate. I remember the rain and horrible traffic. We stood in the rain waiting for cars to be judged. Finally, I said f' it and left. Thankfully, this is just a meet.

how about the first group of MERCEDES-BENZ that get there section off about 50 or so spaces for the rest of the MB crowd that will be getting there after 11 AM.
I've got a Mercedes-Benz flag and an AMG flag that I run up a pole if there is a pole. At least that will direct people to the MB Corral !!!
Let's get ALL the MB's to park together !!

Everyone is still meeting up with the rest of the folks at 9:45am. Remember there are car communities sectioned off already but not one with 50 spots. I was told to bring the canopies early and claim where our main headquarters will be. From there it may be easier to grab parking spots for the group but not to overdo it. I didn't mean everyone. There are two canopy owners who I've already spoken with. I'll grab those two and run down there.

It really sucks that I can't take my car for it's first meet (and it's right here at my hometown) 'coz the freakin' dealership can't finish fixing a malfuntion warning. They said parts won't be available 'til Monday so I have to leave the car for the weekend at their shop...I guess I'll just drop by as a spectator...(Are spectators welcome though?)

Spectators are most definitely welcome. It is a free event so come by, hang out, and socialize.
