I've met MANY people in person that I met through the Internet and have never had a bad experience. I've met motorcycling people, dog people and NASCAR people -- always had a great time.Originally Posted by Waiting-4-550
Meeting internet buddies in person is a scary thing.. But if MBUSA picks up some of the cost then sure I could be convinced... It's a very tentative 2 for me

Oh wow.....I didn't guess you were that young. With all your wisdom I thought you were at least 47 years old Originally Posted by Nevada Jack

Good for you, I'm glad you are retired so young, how did you do it? That's great, some people get to their 60's and still working for Walmart or McDonalds.
I planned to retired this year 15 years ago, but wives and kids got in the middle, if you know what I mean.

I retired at 55 and my wife and I made a decision Quality of Life was more important than more money and work. We were fortunate to make some good decisions along the way. It worked out well because she passed away 2 1/2 years ago, but we did have 18 years doing what we wanted to do and enjoyed that time together. If we had waited and worked longer it would have been a total waste of effort.Originally Posted by BETO

I would love to Death Valley sometime, BETO. Halloween is bad though since my 4 year old will not be "fun" if he doesn't trick or treat.Originally Posted by BETO

Death Valley does sound good to me as well, but I'm with oknish, my kids would kill me if they do not get their yearly sugar rush. Maybe we can schedule a different date for a Death Valley run.OK, back to topic.

OK, we can go on a different date, and I can plan a little bit more. There is a great steak house in the middle of Death Valley.
So, when is the meet again? I have to mark my calendar
