Would you believe it? My CL600 has been in the shop for almost two weeks now undergoing evaluation for a misfire. Just got the call today that it's been successfully diagnosed and repair has been authorized by my warranty company (gotta love it!). So I've got this C280 I've been driving around saving me a few miles per gallon in gas. It would make the drive out there a bit cheaper, but not as... spirited?

I sense the hesitation here, and I can't say I'm surprised. If lots of people don't show, and it rains? It just won't be the same. To top it off, my car's in the shop so I'd be driving the loaner anyway.
I wish there were a definitive answer here on whether it's still on or not. I can't find any reference to a rain date, either. I honestly don't know at this point, but I'll look at the forecast tomorrow morning and call my shot then.

I just got in, and it's raining here in CT. What's the call Chris? Is this off if it's raining???? I really don't feel like getting up in 3 hours to drive 2 hours and find no one there cause its raining.

GUYS... SORRY I KNOW IT'S KIND OF LATE BUT I WAS AT THE FABSPEED EVENT AND JUST GOT HOME FROM NYC... ALONG WITH A 90mph in a 55mph speeding ticket... fantastic....

I Was on the phone with them for 30 minutes yesterday trying to get exempt, but they would not budge and did not give a **** that it was for charity...
Please bring cash as there might be a fee to park at Montauk...

I won't be able to leave Nassau County until 12 and by the time I get there, it looks like it will be raining. 
HAve a great day, cuz right now the sun is out, and Oxygen should get great pics @ Jones beach and Montauk by the time u all reach there! The best thing is the mega-caravan over there which I'm gonna miss (And I always wanted to do this ride)
