And then...
So we did a 180 and headed back along the OP towards the Wantagh.
Unfortunately, at the roundabout for the Wantagh, many of our crew stayed to the left heading toward the Meadowbrook. Me in my loaner C280, naturally I'm following and not leading, so whatever, I stay with the pack I could see, and the dozen of us were Meadowbrook-bound. After a few exits, our pack broke up and just kinda went their own ways.
I am sure that the crew that made it onto the Wantagh and ultimately out to Montauk had a great drive out. There were a ton of sick cars and the weather held out beautifully for the morning assembly and drive.
I'll read jealously of their adventure when they come home and post.
Thanks Oxygen for setting it up, and to all the guys that made it a great turnout. Can't wait to see the pics!

hey whats ups fellas? what happened to you guys? i had a great time at the meet today. it was my 2nd meet and i met a bunch of cool people. the drive off was hot, about 40 different cars cruising together right after we left jones beach. that bridge fire messed everything up. we lost some many cars in the confusion. hats off to Chris and Nate for putting it together!
we made it about 5 miles from the lighthouse and i got pulled over by montauk police for no reason. but the cops were cool, no tickets. chris actually got some pics of it.
i was looking forward to seeing more people from this site but there was only a small portion of those who said there were coming. oh well the weather was perfect at 73 degrees. i'll let some of the others chime in on more of the trip..

.....The Orange Tech Art GT2 was one sick car!!!....some crazy stuff today....did you see that Matte Black M6???...The P-Cars were def. my favorites...ahh to dream....I heard that Jody (E55Rocket) got a new CL65??...is that correct???..I know the motor blew-up on his E55.....
I saw Carl also(Coolcarlski)....I still have my AMG Hat Carl!!!
