Greenwich, CT - SUNDAY 6/8/08, Greenwich Concours d' Elegance Show
I'm trying to get a few of us together to go to this show, it's usually the best formal show of the summer.
DATE CHANGED: Saturday is domestic cars, Sunday euros. Changed to Sunday!
Important stuff: SUNDAY 6/8/08, 10AM, Roger Sherman Baldwin Park, 100 Arch St, Greenwich, CT 06830. Parking will be tough, we'll have to park at one of the muni lots around the area and walk there.

2008 GREENWICH CONCOURS D'ELEGANCE-VINTAGE CARS, BOATS AND PLANES
The thirteenth annual Greenwich Concours d' Elegance will be held on June 7th and June 8th at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich, Connecticut. Bruce and Genia Wennerstrom, who co-chair the event, plan to include a display of both vintage and contemporary power boats. "We'll have boats in the water and boattails on land," they said, referring to the classic automotive speedsters of the 1930s with rear ends shaped like the sharp prow of a boat.
Now acclaimed as one of the top events of its kind in the country, the Greenwich Concours helps benefit Americares, the international relief organization. The event also includes vintage motorcycles and aircraft.
Saturday's Concours d'Elegance will feature American automobiles from 1900 to present. Sunday's Concours Europa will feature European/import automobiles from 1900 to present. Many of the cars to be shown each day are rare, limited-production, or one-off vehicles. In addition, each day there are galleries of automotive art and memorabilia, a book alley, workshops and demonstrations, and fascinating exhibits of exciting new cars which, in the past years, have included Audi of America, Bentley, Aston Martin, Bugatti Maybach, Mercedes-Benz USA, Lincoln Division of Ford Motor Company, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, General Motors, Saab Cars USA, Daimler Chrysler Corp., Volvo Cars of North America, Jaguar Cars North America, Land Rover North America, Ferrari, Maserati North America, and Mini USA.
Dates: Saturday June 7th and Sunday June 8th, 2008
Show Time: 10:00am to 5:00pm each day.
Admission: $25 per day or $40 for both days; children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.
Location: Roger Sherman Baldwin Park, 100 Arch St, Greenwich, CT 06830
Weather: The show goes on rain or shine as scheduled.

Okay, I can vouch for myself...
This is how Saturday night went...
8 Budlights (worst ****ing beer) deep and then a shot of some crap with my ex-girlfriend of all people, now I'm pretty hammered.
It's about 3 my friend is driving my S-Class home... I am in the passenger seat telling him to "floor it" pretty much around every turn, he was following my orders and apperantly having a great time with the car. Said he wanted to buy one or buy mine from me. I said great. Anyways, somehow the drivers got switched and this girl I went to high school with was now in command... okay what ever she said she loved it too yadda yadda, we pull up to my friends house and she kindly rams one of my 2-Piece 19" AMG wheels into the ever so patient curb. She was scared ****less and kept saying sorry but I saw it and nothing really even happened... probably $50 to fix.
Anyways, I don't really even remember coming home but somehow I parked in my garage, fell on the concrete stairs that go into my house, ripped my knee apart and ended up in bed somewhere around 5:00AM...
Woke up at 2:00PM and realized what I missed... Sorry bro!
