there were a lot of newer cars.
Here were some of them.

By now, you can see the sky has gotten dark, from the huge out of control Yorba line fire, north of us.

ASHES rained down on our heads, on the cars, and into their open windows!!

It began to get worse by the minute. It was getting very unpleasant as time went on.

By this time, the Yorba Linda fire had totally blackened the sky, so it was time for me to get out of there,

and my car had had the windows down, at the show, so it was full of ashes everywhere inside, now, and my head was covered with ashes too, besides!!! So one last picture of it by the Heli, and I am outta there...

*******************

Non Mercedes-Benz, but I had a date with a girl from San Diego that was part of my itinerary, in the San Diego Gaslamp quarter that night, then wine tasting out by Temecula, the next day,

Great event!!! So Cal rocks!!!! Thanks to Saprissa, for setting it up, all the vendors and prize donors - and all who came out for this one!!

Phone is HTC Touch Pro from Sprint.
Hey Drex,

The color is Capri Blue Metallic. I'm not sure of the exact paint code.

Oh really? Wow, I thought they discontinued Capri Blue. Looked really nice. So strange because my blue was darker than the catlogues, but yours looks darker than mine.

Anyhow, really nice color!

It is still available, but I had to order it in the Capri blue, since that is not a popular color.

What I love about Capri Blue is that it looks so different depending on ambient lighting conditions. It's definitely brighter than Midnight Blue in sunlight, but Capri blue has chameleon-like properties. The pics you saw were taken under hazy/smoky conditions, giving it that dark blue/purple effect. In bright sunlight it's a brighter purple-blue-metallic. At night it looks black. The color is very difficult to photograph and is best appreciated in person. It's just one of those atypical colors I just had to have!

I know this is a long shot, but is there any way to move this meet towards the center of the country? I'm always looking for MB shows to go to, and out of all of them it seems like you guys have the most participants. Plus you only had like half of the people show up that signed up! and that was because of weather/traffic. Imagined if you guys centralized this show, you'd have like quadruple the amount of people. I mean, I could get a lot of people from just FL. And we could have like a couple of "caravans" to the show, maybe even make it like a 2 day event with a drag strip and dyno or something? I don't know, I was just thinking of making a meet like this happen and here you guys already have a big one together. What do you guys think?
