Pac Northwest Raceday?

We (WA and BC) should set up a "race day" at the dragstrip. I think it would be alot of fun.

I'll post this in the other forums too. Maybe late spring?

Which car do you have? I gotta "C." Do you know anyone interested in a set of AMG Mono blocks?

Not too sure if it will be pacificraceways, gotta wait till others chime in.

Well, unfortuantly I have nothing compared to your AMG. I drive the 2002 2.3l C230 Kompressor ("sports coupe"). I have a couple mods done so far but am saving up to have the full kleemann overhaul done on it .

Sorry I dont even really know anyone that drives a MB right now. Thats kinda why I hoping to participate in a meet so that I can meet some fellow mb freaks like me .

Keep me updated if you will as I look forward to seeing your beast in person.

Regards,
Matt

No problem Matt. I'll keep you posted on the upcoming events. I am a member of three other forums, so maybe something soon will pop up.

I have heard good things about the Kleemann pulley kit. I saw a s/c Brabus 5.8L G Wagon last weekend and was impressed with it's performance. Owner said nothing but good things about Kleemann. I gotta save up and get an s/c for my car too! Where do you live around? I'm out in Kirkland.

See ya

Yeah I am probobly going to go ahead and splurge on the pulley kit and speed sensitive suspension. But performance wise right now my car is stock

I live just up 405 from you. One exit before Canyon Park off of Beardsly Blvd. Do you know which exit that is?

Thanks,
Matt

Yeah, I know the area pretty good. I got some friends who work in the Canyon Park "complex." Actuallu, I am considering buying a place in that area.

Have you looked into other pulley kits? I am not too sure who else has one, but just curious if you explored your options. Also, a speed sensitive suspension sound cool, who makes that? I'll be doing some upgrades too, hopefully soon.

Any pics of your car? Btw, you missed a pretty cool meet last Sat. There was a wide selection of cars there. You can check out the pics at mercedesshop.com. It's in the Events folder under WA GTG Pics.

Yes I have been researching for the last 6 or 7 months. There are several MB tuners that make them for the C coupe but I think Kleemann is really coming up as a definative tuner. Right now stock my HP(per mbusa.com) is 192. With a $900 alloy pulley from Kleemann its supposed to go up to about 220 hp. I'll be complimenting that with the suspension, then probobly down the road with the exhaust and alloy wheels. I'd prefer to stick with one tuner's product on my car

No pics yet (no digital camera )

My car was in the shop for its A service last weekend. I was totally bumed about missing out. From the pictures looks like alot of late model MB's (with the exception of your C43 and the G Wagon). I look forward to another one especially if its at the track

Matt:

I noticed on the Pacific Raceways Event Schedule there is something going on by Phil Smart MB on July 2nd. It's called Tune and Test. You know anything about it? No info on the Phil Smart website.

Event sounds interesting.....

Whats up Chris,

Yeah we should do the raceday pretty soon. I think I saw your car a little while ago by thrashers corner. Do you drive the amg as you daily, or is it just for show?

Sweet ride by the way, I cant wait to see yours and DLS's car in person
