*** 3rd Annual Fishing Trip in the Highlands ***
The 3 stars makes this official. Will someone sticky it.
Here's the deal folks.
In the past - Mister Brenton kindly planned the fishing trips and paid up front with his own money to gaurantee the charter.
There was a nice turnout - however some people that committed to come did not show up - leaving Mister Brenton on the hook for the payment.
The charter costs $1000 including everything.
It will hold 15 folks which amounts to $67 a head.
The fewer people that commit - obviously the higher the amount.
10 people will mean $100 a head.
Of course - at that stage - if 10 people want to pay $100 for this charter boat - then we will have all agreed and we know what we are doing.
The ONLY way to insure that there are no surprises later on is if you send in your payment to Mister Brenton IN ADVANCE to hold your spot. If you are going on a vacation - you pay in advance. If you buy a plane ticket - you pay in advance. It will be no different here.
With that said...can we all either sign up - or say nay to this now.
Time would be end of June.
My vote is a yes for 2, possibly three - and I will be happy to pay in advance for three people if we all confirm and back it up with advance payment as well.

That boat also holds 40 people. The flat price is $1000 for the first 15 heads, and then $30 per head > 15.
Edit: In addition, we don't know if the boat is still available for late June. I haven't checked in a few weeks.

Hey Sid,
If we get more than 10 people to go - it will be less than $100 of course.
I might have my young friend as well - in which case that would be 4 under my name. You, Mister Brenton, Tommy, MG already brings that number to 8......... perhaps we can get 4 or 5 more.
I don't see this as a problem at that point.
