Tell your wife the rake is broken and you are going out to get a new one, come back smelling of charcoal and beer, tell her Lowes was having a grill demo and was out of rakes.

Answer the poll above. Best date wins (Definition of "best" TBD).

Place: Edison.

Supplies: Usual Pot Luck process, Volunteer to bring various sundries so that we can cook, eat and drink. The penalty for volunteering an essential and not bringing it is you must supply three cases of beer to the spring meet.

Not to interject a serious comment in this thread, but it may be better to target a Sat in late October, rather than later, lest we want to stand around and shiver. The crazy old food thief lady, chatty car thief, vomiting man, or pizza thieves may well be off the grid by November.
