Palomar Mountain Motorgen Cruise Sunday January 9th!

It's that time again. The 1st Motorgen cruise of 2011 will be up to Palomar Mountain! The consensus was that Sunday was better than Saturday, so this will be our 1st Sunday cruise!

The start point will be Nessy Burger right off of the 15 and 76. The address for Nessy is:

4760 Highway 76
Fallbrook, CA 92028-9006

Let's plan to meet up at 3:00p.m. Directions will be handed out and we'll plan to leave the lot at 3:45p.m. The sun is supposed to set at 4:47p.m., so we should get to the top in time to see it.

The end point will be The Round Up BBQ Grill. The address is:

26439 Hwy 76
Santa Ysabel, CA 92070

Here is the entire route.

Last cruise we had well over 50 cars. Let's see if we can top that

Here are pictures from last time.

Original thread here.

See you all on the 9th!

Great Route

I've done that route many times and it is always great.

1st time was with the NSX group....scared the wife so much that she NEVER got in that car again

I've done it with the Harley group a few times and you get a great feel for the scenery but that is better done in the summer than this time of year!

Sounds like a fun time especially if the leader is familiar with the route and not trying to set any Land-Speed records!

In hindsight maybe that was the problem with the NSX run........I was the leader

LOL, we have a leader to kind of keep everyone at a managable pace. We don't want anyone getting hurt or worse...

Do you still have the NSX, or did you get rid of it?

No unfortunately I was always worried about where to park it when I went anywhere and with the wife refusing to ride in it with me it was no fun anymore. Just sat in the garage under the cover and depreciated......lol

Of course. We occasionally have an e92 M3 that comes with us as well as an e46. Any car is welcome

No problem

Sorry I couldn't make it - I had a family thing and I'm getting sick too. I'll definitely be back next month though (probably February 13th!).

See you next time then. Btw, I can only find pics but no video clips of the last fun drive in the other forum. I guess no one put it up yet.
