Gentlemen,

This is a car lovers meet. There WILL be Evo's, Subaru, Audi's and BMW's present. Most all have been modified nicely. I've been the only Mercedes present for the past two meets and I'd like to get some more Merc representation. Amongst all the JDM rice and German fury we even had a guy come out with a mudhappy Jeep. Our last event had NOS energy drinks come out and we were flippin' burgers with a license plate.

Here is our Facebook event: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/e...16845205062255

Details:

Time/Date:
Sunday, May 15 · 12:00pm - 3:00pm (last meet went to about 5 before we did a cruise to Woodfield)

Location:
Old School Forest Preserve
28201 N St Marys Rd
Libertyville, IL 60048

I'll be attended again and will be doing photoshoots of those cars whose owners come up and ask. Here are some pictures on my flickr from the last event: http://www.flickr.com/photos/aokmoto...7626376527492/

Get off those couches and let's try and get a cruise going so we can make a presense.

If anybody's attending, can you post or something?

There's no MB life anywhere in the area and all meets in the past seem to have disappeared because of weather. This is a rain or shine event.

The meet will be held regardless of weather condition. Last meet we've had was held at Monstrose Harbor with 35 degree temps and a wind chill down to around 20 degrees. Still, a 30% chance of rain usually means a couple spots of water and its over, don't let it deter you from having an otherwise awesome day looking at dozens upon dozens of unique cars.

We still had around 100 cars show up that day...

In the meantime, everybody spread the word!

Again, RAIN OR SHINE EVENT!

Forecast calls for rain, bring a poncho or umbrella. If you're afraid to bring out your rides because of a little water or distance concerns, remember; you wash your cars with water and a couple guys are coming from Indiana.

Sack up and come out.

I am sooo dumb!
For some unfathomable reason I thought the meet was to be at the Forest Preserve at the St Mary/Everett.
Went there, did not see anyone except a few folks walking their dogs, got pissed and drove home.
Couple hours later I got the bright idea to check the original post again and that's when I realized how much the painkillers (bad back) are affecting my brain......

Damn, sorry about that.

So the meet turned out to be dry, cold and windy just like the last two meets. Unlike those other meets, folks must have lost their motivation with a downturn in the weather. We still had a decent turn out.

Pictures can be found here:

I got lazy with my shooting and all the pictures are straight off the camera. Nothing special, but there ARE pictures.

Thank you to all who showed up and saved the day.
