c-spot drive party
are there people in the car with you? do they get pissed if you 'burn rubber'???
You can go as fast as you want on a tight course that could take less than a minute...just stay within the cones or you could get booted or slapped on the wrist. Its hard to get into too much trouble...I got up to a little over 40 before a hard turn in.
The snack food wasn't too bad either.
You can pick any C-class car, drive it by yourself, and as many times as you like, but there is a wait in lines.

are they really strict about keeping it inside the course cones???
They do have a ride along off to the side in some AMG cars and you have to hang on for those. I think the MB driver was doing 90 when he made a 90 degree turn! I thought we lifted two wheels, but didn't after watching other cars make the turn.
They might get upset with you if you knock over too many cones because they have to put them back up.

It sounds like the one in FL was more fun. I was going all out on the course. When I got out of the car, I was approached by one of the track workers. He said, "Nice driving but we want 8/10ths out of you, not 10/10ths." WTH?! I didn't get the boot but driving a c240 at 8/10ths didn't sound too appealing to me. After that, I left and took some hor d'oeuvres and Evian on my way out.
Overall, the event went well. There were nice presentation booths and a good showing of the Benz line. The best part was a drive around the course with a pro race driver in a c32. They could've made the courses a lot longer, though. The Mazda and Volvo track lay-outs were about twice as long.
But put in some good runs first so that you can tell the manager that it was a good honest mistake and that the dude chewing you up went over board!!!!
Let's hear what happends!!!

We must have driven that course at least 4 times each!
It was fun. I didn't see anyone except Brabus C Class...maybe because I didn't know what they looked like lol.
I forgot my camera, so I didn't go knock any cones
Went there today with a couple of friends. We fishtailed their cars like you wouldn't believe! We kept pushing and pushing, until on our last run I hit the damn gas so hard I ran over some cones. The f*king guy over there then chewed me out. I thought it was pretty funny and told him, yeah that was our last run anyways!

. He also made it seem like the guy that did it just didn't know how to drive. I knew in the back of my mind it was an MBWorld guy trying to run through the course like it was a Le Mans tour
. Damn you for thinkin of it first. I think they were more strict on Sunday because of that
. BTW it was the wet track that this was on. The C32 test drive was the best. The test drive courses were a joke. Even the one's for the E-class awhile back were better. At least you were able to test out straight line acceleration and braking distance. Overall, the event was a blast though
BTW...what was up with that slammed C-coupe. It looked like a promotion for 3 fast 3 furious
.
haha that was you?! I went on Sunday and one of the Benz guys said that someone the day before ran over some cones and jacked them up. He proceeded to show everyone a messed up cone and emphasized how important the cones were

I don't know what came over me. I guess it's because it was our last run and my 2 friends were in the car as passengers. I just had to have one last run of fun! Should have stepped on the brakes instead of the gas at that last S turn.
No no no... I was there on Sunday! I also heard the same lecture and saw the same messed-up cone.

I should have done what you did, but it was a pain waiting in that damn line
. People were granny driving through that course. I just did each test drive course once. BTW I was there from 1-3. I may have saw you without knowing it

Next time just keep lining up. It's worth it. I mean, when you go go-cart racing they charge an arm and a leg. With this, it's free!
