Any meets in June and July being planned?
I'll be in Cali during that time.
(seriously they have a meet planned)

Was hoping for some more C coupes...
Sunnyvale was my stomping ground as a kid...
Serra Park was one of the places we hung out, bored to death, before we had cars, buncha WPOD's.
Funny how, a meet a Serra Park draws a crowd, but kicking tires on Lambo's, Ferrari's, Bentleys, Lotus's and Maserati's, taking a mellow 45 minute drive through the hills and having a (at most) $20 lunch with a view of the ocean and hot chicks all around doesn't interest anyone. If I had my way, we'd be going all the way down to Monterey or Carmel Valley, some great photo opps and restaraunts, as well as awesome roads. But what the heck.
You guys wouldn't be able to keep up

Forgive me, but Serra Park was like the last place I would want to go, thats just me....guess I'm the one out of sync. Well the following week in the meet in Santa Barbara so maybe it's all for the best anyway.
The SB meet is on Easter weekend though.
If there isn't more interest pretty soon, we'll cancel this thing.

Hmmm.... can't seem to generate much interest on either board.

I'm leaving out of town for a week and I'll be back right before the meet so hopefully it's a go!

I grew up around that area.
WPOD= White punks on dope, as in the song from the Tubes.
Like way way WAY back. Ya know, like the 70's man!
Looking back, it was a pretty depressing time in MY life, not related to you guys or your meet, and Serra Park was a place where the lost youth of sunnyvale hung out, of which I was one until I got my **** together, went to school and got a real job, and moved away, never to return.
I didn't get into trouble with the law....but they were always on our asses. Always soooo close to getting busted for something.
You could hardly breath! Any gathering of any kind, any party, they were there cuffing people. Between tham and the Sherrifs, and the Santa Clara cops it was a f'in police state.
Had friends cuffed and hauled away, not charged with anything, taken to county, then county saying they had no record of them being there...and they'd show up at 3 am after being released from the drunk tank, not charged with anything, no record of them being there.
They pulled me in for talking to some girls, who had beer...their own beer, not mine, released 8 hours later, not charged.
The girls weren't hauled in OR charged.
Had a SV cop pull me over and put a gun to my head.....said I looked like someone who had robbed a gas station. HA!
I knew the guys who worked there, and found it out the guys who robbed him were 5 hispanics on foot...they were taunting him, saying he was a woos etc....so the dumass goes outside the booth, gets his *** kicked, and they took all the money.
Somehow the cops thought a skinny white 18 year old in a car resembled 5 UNARMED hispanics on foot?
All they said in the end, was that I didn't put my hands on the windshield fast enough, and almost got my head blown off....no apology, nothing.
Just thinking of Sunnyvale pisses me off.
Thats was one of many run-ins with the local PD, that fortunately in my case didn't result in any legal problems, just a lot of almost constant fear and anxiety.
Like I said, it's just me....nothing to do with the meet.
I'm not hating on your meet....I'm hating on Sunnyvale, wish the place would get sucked into the void and disappear...a city without a soul and jerkoffs for cops who would take kids and beat them up
when no one was looking for drinking a beer. Some people dream of the "old days". Not me.I'm no longer promoting or attending this meet, but ggong is welcome to run with it if he wants to.

So this is an MB only thing? no F-cars allowed (even though you are meeting at a former F-Car dealership)
