** NOTE **
I am working with local Santa Barbara Police Department and Highway Patrol. They are familar with the event, and you should expect to be on your best behavior as you are commuting through their streets and freeways.
One of the officers incharge has called me and is very friendly about our event. He will have several officers on staff for our event. They might even being browsing through the event. Although the officer are friendly to the event, they will be looking for misbehaving vehicles.
Do not screw around and speed or drive recklessly !!

This event is alcohol free. If you plan to speed or drive recklessly or bring alcohol, Event staff will escort you off the premises.

I went to school in SB. The cops have ALWAYS been *****s there. Just try driving in SB with a tint and see how long you last...

Based upon other reports of the events, it seems that the authorities were mostly handing out technical violations, like tinting, mufflers and front plates/euro plates, as opposed to speeding or any other "moving violations" . . . so if there was "browsing" by officers, it wasn't to appreciate the tuning! Clearly the message sent by their actions was "We don't want you back here . . ."
