Okay guys -- Like I said, we are holding another meet, just like the meet on April 27th at Roosevelt Park, only bigger! We are in the process of getting a permit for Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn, New York. The projected date is June 13th, which we are shooting for. For all you guys who said you would come to the last meet but never came due to the rain or for other reasons, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE THIS ONE! YOU WONT REGRET IT!

Please remember, that the last meet we did have raffles, hell someone won H&R Springs for a buck, so it'll all be worth it modders! I better see all you guys who came last time, and alot more too, BMW and Lexus think they can out number us, so lets gather up the troops and show them how we do it! If you know anyone who is willing to go, tell them to come. We had 170+ cars attend in the rain in April, and we hope to reach 200+ in the nice June weather! This is a meet you cannot miss!

A sidenote on the venue, its an abandoned airport, with spots that can fit 2,000+ cars, so space WILL NOT be an issue! This is where Bimmerfest was held a few years ago. So lets start it up fellas, ROLLLLL CALLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!

I don't even know how to get to Brooklyn.

 

We'll post up directions as well as caravan information in the days to come... don't worry, it's my first time driving to Brooklyn as well!

 

I think there are crazy gangs there who clink beer bottles and taunt you to come out and playyyyy. There is also a gang dressed up like the Yankees, complete with face paint and large baseball bats.

I saw this on a documentary once.

sign me up! i'm actually originally from Brooklyn (8 years ago though), so it would be kind of cool for me to go back...

btw...everyone that says they're going to come really should actually come...there were like 10 benz people there when the raffle started...but then again i might not of won the springs (that i didnt even get mailed to me yet) if they came

Just a quick heads up guys - Floyd Bennett Field is an enclosed, private facility. It is right off the Flatbush Exit of the Belt Parkway. The 2 advantages of this is once you get off the highway, you will not have to worry about getting lost since it is right there. Secondly, since it's a private ENCLOSED facility that we are getting a permit for, you will not have to worry about any of the unsavory Brooklynites who prey on us Mercedes, BMW, Lexus owners! We will be the ONLY ones in there. We will only have to deal with one another!

...like for instance, there's a guy with a Blue E46 //M3 that will be there whose license plate reads AMG THIS! So, we will all have a lot of ininterrupted fu all by ourselves!

Unlike last time, I'm really going to try to make it this time. Sounds like it will be awesome, and the private facility idea is perfect. Plus with the nav, I certainly won't have any trouble getting there. I've been to a few parts of BK a while ago.

I'll have to reconfirm later, but so far, it seems like a go!

 

WoW! The Mercedes roll call seems to be growing faster and larger than the Lexus guys this time around! Benz guys are not trying to be outnumbered by the mighty Lexus crowd!!! Good going! Keep it growing!

...but don't expect to beat out the BMW crowd! We're already at 22 members and growing!!! Vrrrroooommm!!!

...oh yes, those were friendly fighting words!

 

It's quality, not quantity. Don't worry - keep Bangle at BMW a couple more years, and we'll lap you.

 

Bangle makes it VERY hard to make any kind of comeback to comments like that.

...sigh. As far as the new 7 and 5 Series, MB has already run laps around BMW.

But Bangle did do at least ONE thing right and that would be the E46 3 Series... of which will be the biggest representer of the BMW presence at the meet. So, both quantity AND quality is ummmm... STILL IN THE LEAD right now. 23 cars and growing! So there!

 

Vik, just got your PM, but your box is full -- aw, man; June 13th? I'll be on my way to Fort Drum for a two-week military exercise that day. I'll have to take a rain check, sorry.

...uhhhh, Vik, are you trying to catch the Bimmers??? I cannot front... I am a little scared because this is the very first time the MB roll call has been larger than the Lexus roll call!
