Dyno Day in Northeast on August 28th!

Hi all, some of you might have seen my posts on this site, but for those who haven't, my name is Dean and I run a web site called dynoperformance.com. The site is a hobby of mine and I do it all for fun (make no $$ from it). The site contains a database of dyno results obtained from dyno days we host.
Our next dyno day is open to everyone at New England Dyno in Worcester, MA on August 28th.
http://dynoperformance.com/dynoday.php

To sign up, simply register in the forums (http://dynoperformance.com/community...?mode=register), click on the "Member Section" link in the upper right hand corner of the page. then click the "sign up for upcoming dyno day link".

The cost is $50 (for dyno shop) and includes 2 consecutive dyno pulls w/ air fuel ratio readouts and an all you can eat BBQ.

Hope some of you can make it!

Dean, couple of questions, if you don't mind:

when would we need to reserve by?
does the dyno get really backlogged at your dyno days?
any room for a mini-meet? this would be a good excuse for one

Thanks.

Sometimes they fill up, other times not. Just check back on the site and you can see the # signed up here:
http://dynoperformance.com/dynoday_list.php?ID=26

You can sign up as late as a couple days before the dyno day, granted it isn't filled up.

Sorry, but what do you mean by mini-meet? Lots of people come to these dyno days just to shoot the sh*t. We get a good group of people coming just to watch, so my hope is that a group of MB owners can meet up (maybe on the pike in the morning), then drive there together and hang out.

Since I'm new to the MB group, I'm looking forward to meeting some of you there.

For MB owners, so far we've got a CL600 and C32 AMG (mine) going. I need to do some research on how to dyno certain MBs (disabling ESP?). Will research it before the dyno day to help out others who won't know how to prepare for "Dyno Mode"

BTW - signing up doesn't require a credit card or any transfer of funds. You simply pay when you dyno. If you want to sign up and save a spot, feel free, just please make sure you remove yourself at least a week before the dyno day if you decide you can't make it. You can remove yourself from the dyno day by logging in and clicking the "remove" link in the member section on dynoperformance.com

Alright, Dean - just signed up. Though mine will be the most girly car dynoed that day by far, unless someone with a Ford Festiva steps up before the 28th.

Girly? I don't think so! Glad you signed up. Looking forward to meeting you on the 28th! It is a rare occasion to see MBs at these dyno days, so I think others will be interested in checking our cars out

Yep, it is still on!! I will send out the schedule on Thursday night, but if you want to drive in with me and others, we are probably going to meet at the rest/food stop right past the 495/90 intersection (going towards worcester) at 8:30am.

If anyone else isn't interested in dynoing, but is interested in coming to watch/chat, feel free to meet us around 8:30am with the rest of the group!

Cheers!

Dean, thanks for setting this up. The Mass Pike really sucks - took me over an hour more to get back home yesterday. And your fellow MA people really need to learn how to move over when I give my highbeams!

MBs were me (173 hp - was pretty happy; means I'm about 200-205 at the fly), Dean with his cherry C32 (needs Euro strips! ), and someone with a CL (600, I think), who left pretty quickly. I'll post a link to the results as soon as Dean gets off his *** and throws them on his site. :p

So, no 202s. The best dyno was a F-150 Lightning with juice.

LOL, just waiting on the results to be emailed from the shop.

I pulled 292rwhp 298rwtq but noticed the #s were STD corrected instead of SAE - Will post SAE corrected #s once I get the files!
