La Auto Show
the LA auto show is coming up so i thought i would give a heads up to the socal members. Present your MB key(any year i believe) and you cna get into the Mercedes VIP lounge. Mercedes started this trend a couple years ago and you know everyone else(bmw, lexus) had to follow so now they have lounges as well. Its a good place to get away from the huge crowds and grab a drink and some cookies and cheese.

Is the parking safe, do you know?
I live in nice, safe, generic Orange County, and you know we have the auto lock on our car doors set to lock the minute we cross the county line into LA. Everyone is a car thief there, you know. If they don't jack you at a light, they'll get you while you're parked

The show is at the LA Convention Center, fills most of the buildings, Parking is ten bucks, and the show has $2 discount coupons at Al & Eds Autosound, and many new car dealers. You car is mostly safe, at the indoor parking at the center, but many people park in outlying lots and take a little bus. I don't trust those locations.

LA is safe lisamcgu. No need to worry. Your dealer could probably give you all some free tickets. If you show brabus your keys they will also let you in. Hopefully they have an SLK and a CLS as i want to see brabus versions of that.

I think I will go this weekend on Sat or Sunday, Maybe we can set a date this weekend and we all can meet up or something. That would be nice. I usually pay $20 and park inside the Convention. I feel this is much safer than the outside parking. Yeah, if you love your car so much, hell, $20 is worth it.
Yeah I remember last year, I just showed brabus my keys, and told the guy I have a brabus kit on. He then asked me where and who I got it from. I just told them i got it from a good buddy of mine that works at F1motor sports. From that point on, they let me in.
Anyone down to meet up this weekend, maybe Sunday?

Why is everyone acting like it's a war-zone in downtown LA? Come on people, the days of people running up to your car and jacking you are over. And if someone decides to take it from the parking lot that's just a good excuse for your insurance to kick in and buy you a newer Benz.
I just park at the building I work at and take the DASH to the Convention Center. I could even walk but 12 city blocks can get pretty tiring on the way back.

Im going after the press day at the Detroit show so that there will be some newer cars there. Ill be there with a few friends. Ill definately go to the MB Lounge. Is there a BMW Lounge too?
