TRI-STATE GUYS! LISTEN UP!

For those Tri-State guys trying to set up a meet in NY, theres a bigger one and more closer to me, involving VW, BMW, Audi, Mercedes, etc. Basically all german, this is a fundraising GTG for Tsunami Relief funds as well as a cruise, there will be lots of picture taking and filming, and it will be a blast. I can't access the included forum topic from vwvortex. What goes on at a meet? I live in Albany, NY and am thinking of attending. I spent about a year in North Brunswick. I'd love to revisit the area.

Mike, I can't say here, but make sure that you bring your own Crisco.

I'd assume the usual "Wow, look at those nice mods to that VW/Audi/BMW" and "Hey, another stock Benz!" - type of discussions. Basically, a meet 'n greet, with some random idiot doing donuts in the parking lot at some point.

Some of us may be hitting a local restaurant before or after the meet for grub.

IA - that should be the one you're talking about; GWB dumps you out on Rte. 4, then follow that west for about 10-15 minutes, and you'll be there.

Laugh it up, SL - every joke at my car's expense equals rougher treatment of your clutch when I do my testdrive. :p

 

ImportAlly, No, the one over the GW is the one in Elizabeth... The one we are talking about is on route 17... if you need directions, hit up the IKEA website and get directions to the Paramus location.

Alewifebp, you should come, it'd be awesome to see the E500 again! (love that color )

What goes on at the meets? You get your car to look its cleanest, line up with other owners, chat have a good time, and win some prizes from the raffles from the various sponsorers, and raise money at the same time for the Tsunami victims!
