I'm in Tampa.. Depending on the date, I'll go. As long as my '99 C230K can come along with me...

Hey, I am down to head up north to Orlando for a weekend meet. I know it's not a lot of time but I have a bunch of buddies over at IS300.net who set up a huge Lexus and Supra meet at Old Town in Orlando on Feb 19th at 1pm-5pm. Here is the post from their website.

Lexus/Supra Meet 19th of February 2005

Hello All,

As time is winding down very quickly, I felt the need to clarify the plans for our meet in this letter. From time to time, things seemed to have changed pending the communication between organizers of the events and the participants being everyone who is reading this. I believe that an itinerary is perfect for the days out come which of course does not have to be followed but its purpose is only to be used as a guideline to what we have planned for the day. I was the original person whom contacted Old-Town about using it for our meet, but things got tuff for me with school and everything so I turned it over to Shawn (lexusondubs) who actually made the arrangements for us to be set up for this event. Then came the Charity event in which Matt (bmsport) notified us and to which we have intervened with our schedule to make a nice long day, which will definitely be a great time. Once Again Thanks to Shawn + Matt and all of YOU!

Saturday 19th 2005

1:00 pm – Lexus Meet @ Old-Town Begins (Lot Reserved till 5:00 pm)

2:00 pm – Good time for lunch at one of the restaurants @ Old-Town

4:00 pm – Start the roll out for those that will be attending the Melbourne Charity Car Show

5:00 pm – Est. Time we will be arriving to the Charity Car Show in Melbourne. Roll-In will be handled with Donations (registration) 100% Proceeds go to Charity.

8:00 pm – Around this time would be good for dinner I think. We can all hit up one of the restaurants or we can do the usual Everybody for themselves Dinner.

9:00 pm – Show is over and we can split to do whatever it is we want. Some people maybe headed to the strip club, others to Universal Citywalk / Downtown Disney for some nightlife entertainment.

Sunday 20th 2005

No Plans At This Time. We can arrange something perhaps now or the day of our meet. Just know that there is nothing planned for Sunday.

Lexus/Supra Meet 19th of February 2005

Feb. 19, 2005 @ Old Town sounds good to me!! But, are we going to do our own thing, or join in with the Lexus/Supra gang?

Is anybody going to setup a meet? I don't think we have enough time to plan a meet out in Orlando since its only 15 days away.

Of course there's time. It's just a matter of stating that you will be there. And showing up. This will be a good primer for all of us. After this GTG, we can plan something more extravagant and organized with time.

I don't see a problem..

From the looks of it not that many people may go to that meet from here. How about we organize a Benz meet just for us to get to know each other and check out our cars in Orlando at another weekend. I am down to meet some of you guys. How about we get something started just for Benz. Other car clubs are cool but I think the only way we can grow as a group is to start something for our selves. I remember back a couple of years ago the camaro and trans am ( F1 body style group ) use to meet at hooters and then take a cruze down waterford lakes in orlando. It was a good turn out. Maybe we can try something like that. Any way for those who go this weekend take some pics and let the rest of us know how it turned out. But if anyone is interested I can come up with some ideas and maybe approach a hooters or sonics and ask for permision for a meet at their area. Let me know. All Benz's are welcome.

P.S. come on guys, lets start something in Orlando

Hey, I'm OK with that idea also. I live in Tampa. Just have to coordinate the right weekend. I'm off this weekend. So a GTG @ Old Town or any other place is good with me.

Lets hook it up..
